Fantastic service from the beginning to checking out! They are super attentive to your needs and everything provided was very personalised. I love it that the onsent resort is very private and it seems like they mostly served local tourist. The ocean view was absolutely stunning and it was a perfect stay! I would definitely come back again.

Very good view from room, clean and big

The traditional Japanese-style room, although the facilities are relatively old, is generally well maintained, but remember to close the doors and windows as there are many bugs at night. Breakfast and dinner were good, but the hotel is located on the top of a mountain. Apart from hot spring baths and two meals, there are no other activities. Atagawa is also a relatively small place with not many places to visit.

The location is good. It is said that the hotel with the best sea view in Atagawa. It is 500 meters away from Rezhou Station and less than ten minutes' walk away. If you contact us in advance, the hotel will also have a car to pick you up at Atagawa Station. There is a lady at the front desk who speaks Chinese, and communication is smoother. We arrived at the hotel a little early and were provided with refreshments while waiting, which was the famous orange pudding in the Izu area. Japanese style room, the room is very big and the view is really good. It is also very suitable to get up early in August to watch the sunrise (4:50-5:00am). There are many very thoughtful designs in the room. For example, this is the room with the most sockets we have ever stayed in. There is a clothes drying rack, a storage box for small items, and the red bean fruit on the small table goes well with tea. The hotel's hot spring area is quite large, with indoor and outdoor facilities, and private baths can also be reserved. The hotel is a little far from the beach, but there is also a hotel car to pick you up. The beach here has slightly coarser sand, a bit of waves, and good water quality. It is not as crowded as other beach bathing beaches. Breakfast is a set meal, and you will make a reservation for breakfast when you check in. The taste is very good, especially the grilled fish. The fish bones are crispy when they are freshly cooked. The most important thing is that the service is very good! During breakfast, the children drank soup and wine. Not only did they help change the soup and clean the seats, they also thoughtfully asked if they wanted to go to the hospital and brought ice cubes to avoid burns. So satisfied! The hotel of choice in the future!

The environment, service, and hot springs are all first-rate. The balcony view is so beautiful. The price/performance ratio is very high. The food is of good quality. I even added Ise lobster at my own expense for one stay and two meals, which is only 3,600 yen each, which is great. The only drawback was that the bathroom in the room smelled bad, so I had to not open the bathroom door. Fortunately, there is a large bath and hot spring♨️. Will take my family there again

After checking in, I compared the hotel's one and it was invincible. The service is first-class, not only in terms of service attitude, but also in terms of service quality. The impression is very good. It can be said that it is meticulous and provides everything imaginable! The hotel package provides two meals. We chose morning and evening meals and stayed for two nights. The meals were different every day, which was great! The food standard is the highest during our stay in Japan, both the ingredients and the taste are top-notch.

The room has a pure Japanese-style sea view and a beautiful sunrise. There are not many service staff, but they are very considerate. The view from the large public bath is simply unbeatable, and there is also an outdoor hot spring, which is super comfortable. I give it 5 stars! Lots of surprises!

Let me talk about the good things first: 1. The hotel should be an old hotel, but the service is still very good. There is a waiter who can speak English and feels like a Southeast Asian. Both she and the Japanese provide good service. 2. The town of Atagawa is very quiet. The breakfast and dinner (the picture below only shows the dinner part, not the whole) are very rich. I think it is enough to eat breakfast and dinner without lunch. I had lunch on the first day, and I vomited after dinner. 😅 The bad things: 1. It takes a long time to get to Shimoda or Omuroyama (mainly considering that there are too few subsequent transfers, it takes a lot of time to plan the itinerary based on Atagawa). If you don’t have a car, transportation is inconvenient. 2. I have been to Japan many times, and the view of the hot spring soup in this hotel is very ordinary (although it directly looks at the Pacific Ocean), which may just be related to its angle. In short, there are still quite a lot of options for one night and two nights in Japan at this price, no surprises or pitfalls.

Every time I go to the hot springs, the room is reserved. Looking at the sea view, blowing the sea breeze, and soaking in the hot hot springs is so happy. The service at the hotel is very attentive and every employee is super polite. It was so comfortable to stay and eat for two, I want to come again!
