Overall a pleasant stay. The room was excellent. Friendly staff, 10min walk from the village and close to the beach Clean and tidy. Will be booking again

Excellent venue for a short break exploring Lancashire and the Yorkshire Dales. Room only, good parking, very clean and comfortable. Complimentary coffee and bottled water, wifi. Good location close to the beautiful village of Heysham. Recommend the Royal pub in Heysham for food

Fantastic property with incredible owners !! We had a dramatic change of plan and needed accommodation at very late notice. Dave was so very helpful, informative and kind. The accommodation is very close to the port yet so quiet and really comfortable. Amazing shower room too. We had room 6 and will stay again!

My stay at the Port House Hotel.
The proprietor was very welcoming, the room was clean and tidy. There was also tea,coffee, biscuits and water available in the room. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. They do not do breakfast but the proprietor recommended places where we could obtain an evening meal with a pint of real ale and also some breakfast the following morning. Would definitely stay there again.

Booked two double rooms as we and our friend's we're going to the Isle of Mann on the ferry so ideal for a overnight stay. Owner was brilliant and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms were top class both in cleanliness and quality. We also left the car there for a week for a small fee. Certainly recommend this place. Nature reserve near by,coastal walks and pubs.

Ten–minute walk from Heysham Port ferry terminal and railway station. Good host Jack welcomed me - I appreciated being able to arrive early and leave late (it’s off-season). My single room was perfect - very clean and comfortable, TV with many channels, WiFi, electrical outlet above the desk, kettle, bottle of water, a good shower, a towel-warming rack and a luggage rack. On Jack’s suggestion, I walked the coastal path to view the 8th-century chapel ruins and an ancient church. I highly recommend The Port House for a comfortable stay.
