Lyttos Mare

Just absolutely regular resort, nothing special at all. The food is flat and the drinks are very poor. Even if you go to (only one) all-inclusive al a carte restaurant you will get same food as in buffet and some special meals for money. Small crowded pool and no service on the beach. In general, it's rate 3 out of 5, but it's still completely overpriced.

Very nice hotel, comfortable rooms, excellent food. The only thing that was a disappointment was the gym. It's on the edge of the indoor pool and the floor was always wet and slippery which seems like a bit of a hazard, also cardio equipment was lacking a bit, no spin bikes or rowing machines.

Amazing hotel, staff provided the best customer service from the receptionist to the restaurants and cleaners all amazed me. Food was delicious and cocktails were amazing! Special shout out to the waiters in the main restaurant they do an amazing job!! We went on our first family holiday with a 6 month old. The holiday was amazing he felt comfortable and facilities were amazing in the room (sterilisation and baby friendly)The only thing was that we found the spa staff a bit rude, definitely they need to be trained on customer service

We stayed as a family of four (children aged 6 and 4) in October. We stayed in a 2 bedroom family room. It is one big room separated by a sliding door. We never actually felt the need to close the door. The food was excellent. Our favourite was probably the main restaurant, we also visited the Greek, Asian and Steak. They were all good, no complaints. There was always a great choice and variation in main restaurant. The kids food was super too. The pools were cold in October but we did visit the water park daily which the kids loved. I imagine it would be very busy in Summer. The kids park is super. We didn’t book our kids into the kids club but if we were at the park they were always welcomed to join in as we sat close by. Access to the football pitches was a bonus, we took our own ball. My son wasn’t keen to take park in the football training but it looked great for kids. We just played ourselves. You can also play table tennis FOC. Hotel is in a great location, only about 20 mins from the airport. We didn’t venture out of resort much as we felt there was enough on site to keep our family occupied. Didn’t feel overcrowded in October but might feel different in summer. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A lovely AI hotel, beautiful layout and amazing sunbeds. We travelled as a family of 3 with our 11 year old son. I requested a quiet room, as we all love some peace and quiet. The first night we arrived late, so there was very little activity around the bars/entertainment. The breakfasts were plentiful and well stocked. With a huge choice. We had lunch in the street food restaurant by the sea which was perfect for us. The cocktails are great too! The main restaurant for evening meals had a lot of choice. When we checked in I asked if we could book the wok & chopsticks restaurant but I was either not heard or ignored! So I asked the following day and was told it was fully booked, we only stayed 4 nights, and it was exceptionally frustrating to see very few tables occupied in the Wok & Chopsticks as we ate in the main AI restaurant again. The second night’s entertainment from the next door lyttos Beach was right next to our room, so we had to endure karaoke until 10.45. It was annoying having asked for a quiet room before arrival. Plus the kids club below, we also couldn’t use our balcony/ have the doors open as we had heavy smokers next door, so the second hand smoke was drifting in to our room. I did email reception regarding the quiet room request and the receptionist did offer to move us to the other side which was quieter. Apparently they can’t pre book and rooms are allocated on arrival. So it’s tough if you arrive late. But as we only stayed for 4 nights, packing up and moving wasn’t an option for us. We just wanted to enjoy the sun/pools. We used the water park (a big hit with our son) at the lytoss beach and the main pool too. We had a lovely holiday and would recommend to anyone. Pool towels easily changed, and the outside areas nicely kept. Just few niggles like dirty glasses left in the room for days, housekeepers need to move the furniture to clean around bedside tables and under beds, as my son’s ball rolled under the bed and it was full of dust, hair and fluff.

The Cretan massage was awesome. Niko is a very skilled and dedicated professional. It didnt take him long to understand the intensity of the massage that you'd prefere. Minutes after the massage you just feel resurrected. I highly recommend him
