A magnificent hotel as beautiful as in the photos or even more, impeccably clean. Authentic cuisine with fresh seasonal products prepared with great care...over 10 days we have never eaten the same thing. The breakfast is plentiful and of high quality. Maria and her husband are the most welcoming hosts you will ever meet. They bend over backwards to serve you. Maria makes a lot of effort to speak to you in French! Well done ! We feel good. The swimming pool is pleasant. Possibility of walking into the old town for a restaurant, a drink or shops, pharmacy and for small errands... During our travels, we tried hotels, the Balsaminco hotel is the best for us . Thank you for this unforgettable stay!

Rooms are clean and tidy, breakfast is a bit monotonous, location is very quiet and peaceful, there is no elevator only stairs, unfortunately the swimming pool is only open until 6:30 PM so a swim after a long day is not possible, the hostess and hasr son are very friendly.

If you are looking for an experience that you have not had for years, we recommend Hotel Balsamico Traditional Suites to everyone. “Here you are really treated as a guest.” This hotel, with 17 beautiful authentic spacious rooms, is run by Maria and her family. You will encounter Maria the most, her husband is a chef and provides all meals. The man is a “pure artist in the kitchen..”. We are staying there for another 3 days of a total of 13. There are three of us, with our 11-year-old son, who doesn't want to go home anymore, he thinks it's absolutely fantastic..! And it really is “Top”..! A Greek surprise with your breakfast every morning, it's a party every day... You have breakfast in a semi-covered restaurant on the edge of the swimming pool between 8:30 am and 10:30 am, very attractive and cozy...! You can also eat there in the evening, which is also recommended. The hotel is within walking distance of the central square in Old Chersonissos (250 m), where you will also find great restaurants, and Zachos Taverna is highly recommended. The location is great, about 300 m from the main road across the island, ideal for exploring the island by car. You can park your rental car at the hotel for €29 per week! Every day your room is cleaned from top to bottom, no tinkering but with passion... Even the cleaning lady is a top...!! In the hotel we met Dutch, Germans and Italians, very friendly. You will also mainly come across families and couples, no bawling young people, they all stay in Chersonissos itself. Old Chersonissos is nothing like the entertainment paradise about 2 km down on the beach, we have also been there a number of times and had dinner by the sea at Palmera Seaside, very good, and a fantastic spot for photos... Nice to soak up the atmosphere and stroll past countless shops, but then back to the tranquility of this beautiful hotel...! The hotel gets fantastic reviews on the internet and they are all worth it..!! A guarantee for an unforgettable holiday..!!!
