Senseana Sea Side Resort & Aquadventure

Good points: Beautiful hotel, amazing staff. Lovely food & drinks, cute little private beach for the kids with wave breaker. Warm cosy decor. Lovely view off doa island We came as a family off four and we are returning again 2025. We were all inclusive. We hired a car for 2 days. Not so great points: Although we are returning with my in laws, I am hoping off slight improvements but still happy to return. We visited in October (23rd) and the pools are absolutely freezing!! Luckily I did bring along x2 dry suits buys our 2 yr old and 7 yr old couldn’t last longer than an hour in the pools or aqua park, The beach & sea over the road was warmer so we would split our day between the two. The children’s entertainment is rubbish! They make it up as they go along on the day, this needs big improvements for families.. I did find ourselves a little bored in the evenings and throughout the day because you just couldn’t use the pools :(. No point upgrading to private pools, you never saw anyone in them, far too cold during that time off year. We had the hot tub instead and have rebooked for a hot tub too. It defo warmed us all up after the cold dips!! More good points: Staff are lovely even tho it was their end off season, can not fault them at all. They do anything to help. Kitchen and waiters and bar staff are brilliant, you can’t help but get to know them and the same for reception, (Middle Aged guy with a young daughter) sorry didn’t catch your name. The maids don’t speak much English but happy to pass you to someone who does. Massage at the spa was lovely. Maintenance guys were ok 👍 although I’m unsure how often the hot tub water is treated with chemicals. Gets a little grubby as the week goes on. I would absolutely give this a 4* still The really let down as to be the freezing pools and rubbish kids club! Sorry. But we will be back Oct to see you again and hopefully a few friendly faces! This time stopping in the Petite suite so we have more space during the stay. Xxx Hope you are all enjoying some family time after a busy year.

I booked a room through a site called Stay for Long (linked through trip advisor) for 14-24 July 2025 but have had no communication from hotel to confirm the booking, despite emailing the hotel numerous times and also messaging on Instagram. Since booking I have read reviews warning against booking with Stay For Long due to people arriving at the hotel and there being no record of booking. As such I am concerned I have been scammed. I would be grateful if Senseana could respond to my emails to confirm whether or not my booking has been received so I can contact my bank to stop further payments being taken by Stay For Long if necessary. Thank you

I pre-booked an airport transfer via the hotel as I thought this would be the quickest and safest option which went very smoothly. On arrival I was greeted by the team (Natalie) and given a welcome drink along with all the info & everything I needed for my stay (buffet timings, wristband, key card etc.). A member of staff ferried me & my luggage on a golf buggy to my room which I realised to my delight had been upgraded to a wonderful room with a private pool. My room was very clean & comfortable and had a great, spacious shower. I appreciated the free minibar and tea making facilities, as well as the robe & slippers. I throughly enjoyed my stay and my treatment at the spa booked in with Irini (facial & massage). Every member of staff I encountered was friendly, helpful & attentive, making me feel very welcome which was particularly nice as a solo traveller as the rest of the guests were mostly families and couples. It was very kind to allow me to continue to use the all-inclusive facilities after checkout and they offered the use of a shower room as well as left luggage before my late departure. Overall, I’m so glad I chose this hotel for my trip. My only criticism if I had to pick something is the WiFi isn’t the strongest but I was able to use my data instead. Thanks team!

I have just returned from a 7 night stay with my husband and 5 year old daughter and overall we had a fab time. Room - We had a double room and paid extra for a sea view which in hindsight I probably wouldn’t have bothered with. The room was fairly small but was fine for only the 3 of us. Was clean and well maintained. The shower was really good! The bed was comfy and we all slept really well. Pool - Lovely looking pool but was freezing cold. My daughter loves swimming but couldn’t last more than 5 minutes before going blue. I think I would avoid coming here unless in the height of summer because of this. Water park - Really well equipped water park with lots of sun beds and a snack bar. Again the water was very cold. My only gripe was that the music played around the splash park was very loud so not very relaxing. Food - We found the food really nice and varied. Lots of options for my daughter who isn’t the most adventurous. Also the ice cream was delicious! Beach - We only went to the beach once. It was covered in palm leaves and seaweed so wasn’t the nicest. There is a nicer beach if you walk down to the right. Mini club - Once we had persuaded our daughter to give this a go we couldn’t get her out of it! She loved the two ladies running it - Uliana and Kinga. They were really sweet with her and she was really sad to leave them. They do a mini disco which again my daughter loved. Entertainment- Compared to other hotels we have stayed at, there was minimal entertainment so if this is something you really like then I would probably go somewhere else. Overall we really enjoyed our holiday and had a nice relaxing time. There were lots of sun beds available and the whole hotel is kept spotless. All the staff were lovely and the bar staff remembered what we liked. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend if you are looking for somewhere to relax but maybe go in the summer when the pool is a bit warmer.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel, the food was delicious and we really enjoyed the hot tub on the balcony. Violeta was really charming, took care of everything we asked for, gave us and the children a warm attitude, a really good and sweet woman!

Reading some of the reviews it's clear some have "must find fault" on their holiday itinerary, if you're not one of these people and you want a quality laid back holiday then I would 100% put Senseana on your shortlist. Amazing accommodation (Petit Suite with Pool Access), very attentive, polite & friendly hospitality (Special mention to Yannis, thanks for the Greek history lesson and the "Sam" cocktail! and to the lady at breakfast & dinner who made us feel so welcome, sorry I didn't get her name but we would have dinner on the terrace as she was always at her station by the door ready to look after us with a beer & sweet rosè wine and chat about our day. Please pass on our thanks from the English family that didn't find it cool at night!). There was a lot of food options so great for our fussy eaters and it was to a high standard so plenty for the adults too. Just the relaxing week we were looking & hoped for, Thank you we will definitely return.
