Dia Apartments

These apartments were really good. Friendly and helpful staff, really well maintained and lovely views over the bay of hersonnisos. The apartments had everything you need to rustle up food in the room. We were ground floor and terrace was lovely. It sits on the middle of a pretty steep hill so not for people with mobility issues perhaps. Ten minute walk downhill to hersonnisos or the same uphill to piskopiono. I would recommend these apartments.

Very clean studio rooms well equiped with utensils , fridge,toaster,kettle etc. Nicely maintained garden areas. Pool and pool bar areas are also pleasant and all staff welcoming. Nice food / snacks available. There is WiFi in the room and at pool bar

Really quiet, clean and friendly, right in the middle of two beautiful places, down the hill to Hersonissos up the hill to piskopiano totally beautiful. The beach is very small but there is a local bus which can take you to other beaches which are beautiful. The local people were really friendly and the food was delicious. The staff at the hotel would do anything for you. The menu is very small but enough, very clean and comfortable. I have always wanted to holiday alone and I think I have found the perfect place to feel safe and looked after.

I loved my stay here at the gorgeously understated, spotless and restful Dia Apartments. The gardens, pool and bar area were well tended, staff super friendly and helpful (special mention to Angela) also the owners were kind, attentive and informative. No problem was too much for them. This was my first visit to Crete and unfortunately I got very ill, so I’m very grateful for all the help I received both at the medical centre and at Dia Apts. I’d love to come back again and enjoy it more next time. I can definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a very reasonably priced and well-located safe self-catering apartment with great pool and relaxed ambience? We stayed here for a week in a maisonette-style apartment. Quite basic, but clean and functional enough to make our own breakfast daily. Nice view of the sea from the balcony. Small pool area, great for the serious sunbathers but we preferred the beach. All staff are very hard working and friendly. Bar area was admirably ran by the popular George. He was always smiling and good to chat to. Hersonissos was not far to walk to down hill ( here you can get a bus to better beaches at Stalis or Ag Nik). Up a slight hill in other direction was the wonderful Koutouloufari, where we had most of our evening meals. Spoilt for choice. Excellent food , drinks and hospitality. A great holiday… we shall be back.

The service, value for money and welcome from these family run apartments cannot in my opinion be bettered, nothing was too much trouble, so glad we chose here. Nice pool area, basic but adequate studio room, waking up to the view of the mountain was idyllic. The location fab, could walk on another 15 minutes up into the mountain to the village which was soooooooooooo friendly or you could walk down 10 minutes into Hersonnisos which was buzzy, cosmopolitian but also still had a greek feel to it and also friendly. I would go back and recommend these apartments to everyone, except anyone with walking disablilities. There was one draw back only and carrying wine, water etc was a bit of a challenge in the temperature, but a small price to pay for a little bit of paradise.

We arrived late and was met by George who was friendly and very welcoming and as our time here progressed it became obvious what an asset he is. The accommodation is basic but clean and as we didn't envisage that we were going to be spending much time cooking ourselves ( what, and deprive ourselves of the amazing food at local restaurants ! ) we weren't worried about kitchen facilities, we had the basics if needed and most importantly a kettle. The site facilities were just perfect for providing a base from which to explore ... and we did, the buses are an easy and comfortable way to see the local highlights. The bar/cafe serves simple dishes at very reasonable prices and staff are always friendly and helpful. The pool is AMAZING and wonderful to cool off in and has a proper deep end .... so many places now have shallower pools that you can stand up in ! The frequently mentioned 'steep hill' is not so steep .... only the lazy, unfit or mobility impaired would have a problem with it .... we walked this everyday, sometimes more than once .... take your time in the heat, it really wasn't an issue. The over 16's policy only made it a peaceful place to relax and enjoy, to be honest it isn't really suited to under 16's and I can see why the restriction was amended recently. This was my 4th visit to Crete although a new area for me we couldn't fault it at all. The most lovely people and beautiful island .... still so much more to see. My partner and I stayed here for a week. Overall, we have had a lovely stay. Staff very friendly. Hotel and grounds very clean. Angela and George are regular staff, good English, very polite and approachable. Aircon available for £50 per week. Lovely pool and bar area. Quite a few steps in and around the hotel. Adults only setting. Small snack menu but more than enough. Located up a steep hill. Not for the faint-hearted. 5 minutes down 10 minutes up! Close to all amenities.

Beautiful location, accommodation lovely and clean, all staff friendly and helpful especially George, Gabrielle and Angela. Pool is amazing. Couldn't fault it at all 🥰 10 min walk to Hersonissos Town one way and 15min walk to Piskopiano and Koutufalari the other way. Agios Nikolaos €4 on bus from Hersonissos Town.
