"Very homey, well-designed and well-maintained room. Spacious bed with mattress heater which was very helpful for the winter. Plus point for having two sinks.
The room didn't have air conditioner or heater but the very friendly host was so kind to provide us with a portable one.
Minus point: Wifi was slow and the signal was choppy. The chair at the desk was not very comfortable"

"The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the city center. The hostess helped book a tour to the whales. Sleep cold, but there are warm blankets and electric blankets. The room has a microwave, teapot, refrigerator. Very delicious breakfast, thank you for this separately. We forgot our things in the hotel and the hotel immediately emailed us. The town is safe and we first walked in 2 weeks night."

"The Gesthouse is delicious ! I asked for a late check-in because I didn't manage to come to Hermanus during the check-in rules. And I was waiting there. The host told me everything and told me. Breakfast is delicious, service at the top level, all nearby. Thank you very much !"

"Very big apartment. Everything is for a comfortable rest. Of the downsides personally for me: not very comfortable, I wouldn't like to live here long. And another nuance - on the balcony found a full ashtray from previous occupants when they went out to look at the pinch of whales!

KKvothe90Had a splendid 2 night stay and wish we could have stayed longer.
The staff made us feel so welcome. They are exceptionally polite and well informed on the surrounding area. We were provided with a map full of helpful suggestions, and a thorough introduction to the lodge and all it's facilities upon check-in.
The lodge is located right next to Hermanus New Harbour and a few steps from the cliff path, which is well worth the walk.
The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. It opens onto a beautiful, well maintained garden area but a few steps from the pool.
Breakfast was fantastic (reccommend the Full English!), and a lovely selection of breads, cereals, fruits, cold meats, yogurts etc at the buffet.
Truly, no complaints. Would absolutely stay again.

HHannah CompionThe hotel is located conveniently only 5 mins from Ficks Pool and a short walk from the main shops. The hotel upgraded us to a balcony sea view room and we received complementary wine. The room was beautiful, very clean, with dstv and netflix services available. We also had a bathtub and a lovely balcony view. During load shedding the main lights remained on and the wifi was still active. The staff was also very kind and professional.

XXIAOSONGThe room is a duplex, suitable for family booking. It is equipped with a kitchen (with a microwave). The room was large, and couples travelling was a little wasteful. Because in a shopping mall, all have three layers of security systems, and safety is guaranteed.

GGuest UserI liked Baleia. Friendly staff and check-in, even when we were a bit late. Rooms were big and had everything needed. Location and breakfast were good. The only downside is that they seem to have run out of hot water due to a big group staying there. Considering the price, not having hot water was not great, imo. Hopefully this won’t be an issue for other guests in the future.

EElaine Ai LengHotel is centrally situated amidst shopping and eating streets. It is also a 3 min walk to the water front and boardwalk. Staff are good. However, amenities are only soap, shampoo and lotion. No showercap, bedroom slippers, robes, etc. Breakfast is simple but good.
