I booked the room for two of my friends, but I visited them and therefore have an idea of this hotel. The room is large - shower, bathroom and toilet. They clean it daily. There is a swimming pool on the territory and it is about 10 minutes' walk to the center.

The location is very good, next to the sea and the street, you can walk there. The hotel is not big, but there are parking spaces inside. You can open and close the door yourself. The proprietress speaks standard British English. I will go there next time if I have the opportunity.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The breakfasts were delicious, the pool and the friendliness of the hosts were a welcome bonus. We totally recommend the area of Hermanus, with its art galleries, gift shops and plentiful and varied restaurants. We are keen to return!!!

We stayed here recently for two nights. It is a good location for exploring Hermanus and the surrounding area. The accommodation is excellent - great rooms and facilities. Anel was a wonderful host and served up a great breakfast. We would definitely return here!

The best value in Hermanus that I have found. Amazing spacious room and bathroom. All rooms face the pool and the attention to detail is commendable. This place has everything, including a large fridge, safe, air con and so much more. High standards and friendly staff too.

The Sixteen Guesthouse on Main was a lovely property, with 5 fully equipped suites, including a small living room, large bedroom and fully stocked bathroom with shower and tub. The property included large double doors to increase airflow, an exit to the pool with lounge chairs, and chairs directly outside each room. It was easy walking distance to downtown Hermanus either via Main Street (approximately a 10 min walk) or via the ocean road (approximately a 20 minute walk). Anel was a lovely host and provided great restaurant and tour recommendation. I would highly recommend this laid-back guesthouse to anyone traveling through Hermanus.

Cute rooms, very clean and nicely renovated. Very comfortable. Beds and bedding could be improved Lovely lounge area to chill. Host is so sweet and accomodating and goes out of her way. Pool was refreshing

Always friendly, always good service. Reception of guests is always excellent. The location is good because its in the main road and is walking distance from town and other anemities. The rooms are always clean.
