A one night stay only but Elizma and Johan looked after us wonderfully. Beautifully furnished room, comfortable bed, fridge, fresh milk for our morning tea and a bottle of wine! Elizma fixed up a taxi to take us into the centre as we were running late for our arranged supper and, unprompted, both Johan & Elizma picked us up afterwards! The breakfast was an extravaganza of goodies! A real treat to be hosted by two such lovely people. Recommend unreservedly. Never mind 5* ..more like 10! ps. Hope the tortoise is ok :-)

Elizma and Johan are warm and friendly hosts and the guesthouse is immaculate. Elizma is always available to book dinner reservations or to suggest options.Feels like family !!

We stayed three nights at the cottage before traveling to Blougbergstrand. The stay here was great, Elizma is a fantastic host, breakfast was fabulous. There is a path along the cliffs just after crossing the road which leads to the centre of Hemanus. You’ll find great restaurants in town. Golf is also very nice at the local 27 holes course.

Elizma is one of the best hosts you can imagine - friendly, helpful, always in a good mood. The breakfast was extraordinary and I still miss the cooking skills and the amazing fruit platters. A wonderful place with an amazing host.

Great location and a short walk/ drive to Town centre. Lovely rooms. Super host. Delicious breakfast. It was very hot when we stayed and we were grateful for the fan we were offered.

Absolutely delighted with our stay. Everything you could wish for provided by Elizma. Nothing is too much trouble, she just want’s to make sure you are enjoying your stay! A lovely garden area and, if you are lucky enough to eat outside, the best breakfast in Hermanus!!
