We celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary at The Potting Shed, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the friendly staff to the warm greeting from the owners, everything was top-notch. The rooms were incredibly cozy, chilling at the pool was delightful and the homemade complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious. We also loved the refreshing iced tea welcome drink—it was the perfect touch! Definitely an Hermanus gem!

Fantastic stay in a very comfortable studio accommodation. Great hosts/owners and great staff with good knowledgable advice on local experiences / restaurants to enhance the stay. Breakfast is very good.

We stayed at the Potting Shed for one night and recieved a very warm welcome. At arrival we were given a drink and a tour around the b&b. We booked the deluxe room, meaning we had access to a braai that worked beautifully, and we did not have to do the dishes. During breakfast, the owners were very kind and loved to come over to have a chat. Overall an amazing experience and we would definitely come back!

We at the most amazing stay at The Potting Shed. This was our third year back and I couldn’t recommend it more. Apart from the breathtaking rooms and decor, the owners are incredibly sweet and accommodating and truly make the stay extra special. They have pool facilities, the most amazing breakfasts and beautiful and comfortable rooms. Thank you so much for having us again, and we cannot wait to return.

We loved our stay at the Potting Shed. The room was spotless, beds super comfy with quality percale linen and we were treated to the most delicious breakfast and home made treats, lovingly made by our hosts who were super friendly. All in all, a 5 star experience, we will definitely be back!

An amazing venue in a perfect part of town. Our hosts Annamarie and Dave could not have done more for us. Breakfast was an absolute joy, with Dave’s homemade bread, preserves, rusks and marmalade, elegantly supported by Annamarie's pancakes. My son had the bacon and eggs, and was equally satisfied. The rooms were smart and sophisticated, with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. It was quiet, warm and cosy, yet within an easy 10 minute walk of the cliff top walkway. I’d definitely stay again, next time with my wife.

A Perfect Anniversary Getaway at The Potting Shed We had a wonderful overnight stay at The Potting Shed to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The location is lovely—peaceful and charming, with easy access to local attractions, yet quiet enough for a relaxing retreat. What really stood out was the thoughtful anniversary breakfast, which added such a special touch to our stay. The presentation, quality, and attention to detail made it feel truly personal and memorable. The room was comfortable and clean, with everything we needed for a cozy night away. We truly appreciated the calm atmosphere and the genuine hospitality. Highly recommend The Potting Shed for a romantic night away or any special occasion!

Very cozy and wonderful BB, situated close the central part of town, and the rooms were nice and clean. The owner of the BB were very helpfull with places to eat, taxi, where to go for a good walk and also what to see. We would definitely recommend.
