We have had a fantastic stay at the Potting Shed. The hosts are brilliant and so welcoming. A cold ice tea on arrival and selecting breakfast the day before just makes everything so much more welcoming! The room was spotless and one of the most comfortable beds ever! Conveniently located for everything in Hermanus.

Highly recommend! We had the best experience. Our room had a private patio and was quite spacious and attractive. Spotless, clean and cozy with delightful decor and lots of pillows and comforters. Delicious, homemade breakfast each morning. Our hosts, Annamarie and Dave, were so welcoming, warm and caring. They were so helpful and knowledgeable. Dave connected us with (and booked for us) excellent guides for wine tasting, birding, walking, whale watching, and shark viewing. Annamarie recommended a range of delicious restaurants and Dave booked window seats for us with beautiful views of Walker Bay. We will certainly choose The Potting Shed for our next visit to Hermanus!

Very nice accomodation, owners are very kind. Rooms are clean en nice. Breakfast is delicious, home made bread, pancakes, muffins, jam, granola. Excellent!! We saw Wales on the first day! We were here in the South African winter. But the tempeture is really pleasent.

A beautiful place to stay. Everything is crisp and clean. Extremely welcoming hosts and staff, Home made, cooked breakfast everyday. Great location for Cliff Path walk, shops and restaurants. Safe parking on site. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely, comfortable stay at the Potting Shed and were sad to only be there for one night - a wonderful home cooked breakfast, clean facilities, warm and helpful hosts and an easy location for getting to the town centre and the coastal trail.

We stayed over the Christmas period and were super impressed with the friendliness and joy with which this couple treated everyone. From beautiful rooms, to home-made break and treats and not to mention crepe level pancakes for breakfast. It was a truly wonderful stay. Would suggest bringing your own WiFi IF possible-service is sketchy (a problem in the area according to locals) and found my Telkom hotspot via my phone worked best.
