Beautiful suite, very clean, the beds were too soft for us but we enjoyed our stay. Great diner, nice and fresh breakfast. The staff is extremere helpfull and friendly. The view is perfect and it is very quiet around the hotel. We came to shop in outlet Roermond and our trip was very good and relaxing. We willen definetely come back!

Perfect romantic escape for a night or two
Beauuuutiful old tower and buildings in a quiet idyllic setting close to Germany (5 min.) and Belgium (25 min.).
Very clean and well-maintained estate, bedroom, and bathroom. Excellent dinner food in the restaurant, but a somewhat underwhelming breakfast buffet.
Very comfy bed, and while the room and its furniture radiate a romantic castle atmosphere, the bathroom is very modern - a perfect mix between the "old" that you want and the "new" that you need. :)
HIGHLY recommended for a night or two.

The room, downstairs, was not cleaned well. Every where to much dust.
At arrival we took a drink outsite at the terras. The tabels were not clean and even when we ask the staff to clean the table no action wat taken

It looks great however: staff is not competent and very unwilling the serve you. If there is no "vlaai" they simply do not serve something else. We asked for a dinner with Allergenen exceptions, that was a major challenge. Not available during breakfast! The shower was full with fungus! The toilet was leaking. The fish filit was full with little bones. The special ham was burned. The mini bar was filled with a used half empty bottle of wine. The shower went from hot to cold and back constantly without any action. The insect screen at one window was loose at all sides, no one installed at the other window. We had to go to the cafetaria across the street to get a decent meal after dinner. What was the reaction of staff during check out? We are so sorry you had this rotten experience. Please pay the full amout. Goodbye!

Mooie duplex kamer in de kasteelhoeve. Geweldige locatie. Badkamer met fijne douche en apart bad. Goed werkende airco boven. De trap is wel steil, het bankje in het zitgedeelte beneden nogal oncomfortabel. Schoonmaak kan wat beter (vooral stoffig onder het bed). Kaart in het restaurant nogal beperkt. Er worden geen bijgerechten aangeboden zoals salade, friet of extra groente. Personeel is vriendelijk.

Ons verblijf vorig weekend was er een van genot. Heel romantisch en rustig dineren, heel lekker eten, lekkere wijnen. Super bediening aan tafel (vriendelijk, attent). Het ontbijt was ook heel lekker en alles wat er moest zijn was er. We verbleven niet in het kasteel maar in het bijgebouw en het was een hele ruime kamer, een hele ruime badkamer. We namen het arrangement met op de 1ste dag een 3-gangen menu en 2de dag een 4 gangen menu. Suuuper lekker! De 2 diners waren echter telkens dezelfde gerechten. Ze hadden niet vooraf nagekeken welke gasten er 2 dagen bleven logeren. Toen mijn man dit bij het voorgerecht zei, kregen we direct een ander gerecht als hoofdgerecht aangeboden. De minpuntjes waren dat er de 1ste nacht aan de overkant in het huisje een feestje aan de gang was en ze ons dan in een andere kamer hadden moeten boeken. Ze hebben dit ook vooraf gemeld maar toch heel slecht geslapen van het lawaai. Als compensatie kregen we spontaan het ontbijt van de 1ste dag gratis. De matrassen zijn ook niet top, dat zouden ze wel moeten veranderen voor zo'n hotel, vind ik. Is het perfect? Neen, maar ze lossen alles zo charmant en klantvriendelijk op dat er zeker nog eens zullen verblijven.
