What a wonderful weekend we had at the Seehotel. We travelled with our adult daughter so bkd 2 rooms. We had a lake view room with 2 beds pushed together. Our daughter had a single room across the hall. Both very nice & were provided with everything needed & /or asked for. We asked for extra pillows as the ones on offer are very thin. A kettle was quickly organised & wine glasses & cups for tea. The view was spectacular. What a treat to wake up to the lake view every morning. Divine! The facilities were great. Breakfast was adequate. If you came down a bit late though, it looked depleted. Staff on the whole were helpful altho’ a few things got lost in translation. But it all worked out. My only gripe was the layout of the bedrooms with the toilet & shower only walled off by glass doors & not all the way to the ceiling. Really weird design!! All in all though, fantastic place to enjoy all that the area has to offer.

Going out is 21 roads, a bus day pass, 7.5 euros to sit casually, in fact, 15 minutes to the city center, the main station and attractions are also in the city center, play direct 21 road back, get off is the hotel. The exterior of the hotel is a small hotel, but it is well-organized, the breakfast is superb, clean and tidy, and the things are good. The room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is small, enough for a shower! Prepare your own slippers and toiletries. Surrounded by the homestay, the 21st round of the lake into the city, great! Push this homestay!

The parking fee is about 12 francs, and if you pay in advance along with the tourist tax, you will receive a transportation pass voucher. With that, I used the bus several times to go to the city, and there was no problem even if I got on the wrong bus. There was a mart, McDonald's, and Subway nearby, so it was good to buy snacks.

We had booked 2 nights and arrived in the evening. The cable car and the cog railway end right in front of the reception. In the evening there was a wonderful 4-course menu that you can put together as an option. We were given excellent advice on the choice of drinks. We were seated and had another table the next night. We were lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the sunrise from the bed. The breakfast is a buffet with everything your heart desires. We were given a valley and a mountain ride from the hotel. We came within 5 m of the ibex. The sunset is just spectacular from the highest point. The stay on the Pilatus is also an unforgettable experience thanks to the ”imperial weather” and the many photos.

The breakfast is in place, and everything should be there. It's definitely good to be full. The scenery is really beautiful. Excellent value for money. A 50-year old store that has been passed down by the family for generations, it is warm and comfortable. It's 16 degrees cool in the mountains. The dinner was especially good and the price was very reasonable, which overturned my impression of Switzerland being stupid and expensive. The facilities are a bit old, but they are well maintained, and there is a little noise when walking on the real wooden floor. There is a parking lot, so parking is very convenient.
