Great hotel, the rooms were spotless, the cleaning staff were attentive and friendly, the front desk staff was cheerful and extremely helpful when I needed some meds on a Sunday. They searched for a pharmacy that was open, and then called to make sure. Great place. And the breakfast is very comprehensive!

The sea view outside the window is first-class, facing the historic site. Although it is facing the street, the sound insulation effect of the door and windows is very good. Free parking lot is rare. We recently stayed at the Metropole and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment wr arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choices. I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable stay while in Greece. There are a maze of options but you will do yourself a favour by staying here.

Communication was exceptional for our stay at City Lion. Even before our stay, Michalis provided some helpful information to ensure that we were well updated and comfortable. During our actual check-in, the hosts, Michalis and Christos, were both there to welcome us, as well give us some helpful tips about the city. We definitely felt the hospitality! As for the hotel itself, the facilities were all very sleek and smart. It showed that everything about the building and fixtures were well thought out. There was ample space in our suite and it also had everything we could need inside. The balcony was also very nice addition. All throughout our stay, the hosts were every engaging and always ready to help. We also had a very smooth check out. Overall, the efforts in promoting a comfortable stay from the hosts was greatly appreciated. I can definitely recommend City Lion for a great stay in Heraklion and I would definitely not mind staying here again!

The hotel is not in the old town of Iraqi Lion, but the location is very good, 5 minutes walk from the station, parking around is also convenient. The room was clean, spacious, quiet and the facilities were very new. We enjoyed our stay very much. Hotel service is also very good, help us call a taxi. Many local rentals in Heraklion do not play tables, so I ask for the hotel, which is very convenient. Recommended stay.

The hotel staff is warm and friendly, the breakfast is very rich, and it is constantly improving according to our needs. The hotel can also help contact sightseeing. Because it is difficult to go to Spinalonga Island in the off-season (not open on weekdays), but Mary helped contact the taxi driver, carefully planned the route and plan for us, and constantly discussed. On the day of the trip, the driver also learned that there is a temporary group on the island, so by the way, it can be opened to us, so that the journey has no regrets!
