Hepburn at Hepburn

Host could not be more welcoming or informative and could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. Villa was lovely and comfortable, clean and well equipped. Bed very comfortable and lots of extra blankets provided. Wonderful experience. Definitely recommend.

My partner and I stayed at Hepburn over Easter weekend and it was the most beautiful stay. We could not fault a thing and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service (by Michelle) was incredible from the moment we called to book right through to the end of our stay. She was so helpful and lovely! She organised our room to be set up romantically with balloons, rose petals and candles for our arrival and the room was absolutely stunning. The villas were the perfect mix of modern luxury and country escape, nestled away in nature with complete privacy. We will most definitely be back in the future and recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious but peaceful stay.

My partner and I had visited Hepburn at Hepburn for the Easter long weekend and the experience was phenomenal. The villa was beautiful and modern with scenic views from the balcony. A special mention to Michelle who had been extremely helpful from recommending places to dine and being such a great host as well as being a lovely person to deal with. We will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend this place.

We had a terrific time at Hepburn at Hepburn. Great location practically across the road from the famous Hepburn bathhouse. The individual villas are very private and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in. Each villa has its own spa bath which could fit 2 people and a great gas heater for the cold nights. Treat yourself and book and visit some great restaurants. We ate at Kadoka and Bistro Terroir which is only a short 5 min taxi away into Daylesford. We wished we booked 3 nights as there is so much to see and do.

Super cosy, private, and clean. Absolutely loved the service from the team especially Michelle who went out if her way to help us when we had a emergency and needed fo change dates. Will for sure be back again soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The accomodation is very modern and up to date. Bathroom is pretty cool with a good shower and a deep spa bath. My only criticism would be to have a small selection in the bar fridge of local drinks, definitely some cows or nut milk and at the least some bottles of water … If I was going to top off the experience maybe local teas/snacks (there’s only popcorn on offer) and other local products to help showcase the Daylesford and surrounding areas. I think you can buy some of the above at reception but when you arrive and check in you have no idea what’s in the cabin or not…

Perfect for anniversary stop. Private luxury accommodation. Loved the fireplace and lounge. Great bed . Spa and bath salts added a special touch . We aet out but kitchen had everything for a bring in meal or reheat .. Had to drive to spa and bad bird mess in carport 5 were only negatives .

Beautiful accommodation and surroundings. Loved the complimentary extras like the bath salts for the spa, and the popcorn. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. Close to town, restaurants and a walking track. Highly recommend for a romantic weekend away.

We stayed at Hepburn by Hepburn at the end of 3 weeks travelling around Victoria and SA. The good points about the villas were that the bed was really comfortable. As was the sofa. Netflix was great for us. The shower was really nice, one of the best we had on our trip. There were lovely robes. There are lovely bush walks from the propices door. We enjoyed the area. It’s a short walk to Hepburn springs, maybe 10 minutes. There are restaurants there but midweek choice is limited. Maybe we were in lower season The villa is designed with a glass cubical around the toilet and shower. There was a curtain for privacy but we didn’t like the design. The bathroom has no shelves, just a small cupboard and we had our toilet bags and contacts lenses etc balanced on the bath edge. The bedroom didn’t have anywhere for cases if you are on a longer trip. The bedside tables are not really practical. The kitchen oven is a microwave with a grill. We had bought food that needed an oven. I checked with reception and was told it would work but the receptionist was unable to give me any instructions. It wasn’t an oven. You need to bring anything you need with you as the nearest shops likely to be open are in Daylesford, a 10 minute drive. When I re-checked the description on the website, it said fully equipped kitchen with Miele appliances. At that time I also notice they were selling 2 night midweek packages at $200 less than we paid for our two nights only a few weeks before. That left a bad taste as the website said booking direct guaranteed the lowest price. I feel this a fair review, I left it as Hepburn at Hepburn emailed me to request we did and they said they valued any feedback.
