The high-speed rail arrives at Hengshan West Station. During the specified time, the hotel can provide free pick-up and drop-off. The room facilities are perfect and feel good. The boss and his wife really make this hotel great. It’s a small place, I think like 14 rooms. We weren’t able to arrive until 8pm, so the hotel came to pick us up from the bottom of the mountain. The car has to stop at the ticket office so you can buy a mountain entrance ticket, otherwise you can’t get to the hotel. It was 114 rmb, but during off-peak I think it goes at low as 84 rmb. The boss’ wife speaks a little bit of English, but honestly I wouldn’t recommend even coming to this mountain if you don’t speak some Chinese or travel with someone who does. The owners are experienced, before they even gave us the room they said we were upgraded to a nicer room on the other side of the building because that night there was going to be a lot of noise from the neighbors near our original room location. The hotel is 3 floors and does not have an elevator, be prepared to carry your luggage up some stairs. The hotel has a rooftop you can go to which has an incredible view! I takes about 2 and a half hours to hike from the hotel door to the top of the mountain, the owner will show you the way. If you don’t want to do the entire hike, the hotel is conveniently located near one of the bus stations, so you can take a bus pretty far up the mountain. The price is okay. Those who don’t want to bring something can choose to eat on the mountain. Zhu Rongfeng is indeed very high, the scenery is really beautiful, and it is beautiful to see the terrace in the morning and sunrise. Tents can be rented on the mountain, ranging from tens to 100, and the price is better. There are air cushions, moisture-proof cushions and quilts. The room I live in cannot accommodate an extra bed. I don’t know if a double bed room is possible. It’s best to take the child to the scenic sightseeing bus to Nantianmen and then walk, or it’s more tiring. The cable car and tickets in Hengshan are valid for two days, but the cable car can only go up and down for a single time and cannot be used repeatedly (for example: Nantianmen goes down directly to the visitor center, you can no longer ride down. But if it is an intermediate station, such as: Nantianmen to Martyrs’ Shrine, from the Martyrs’ Shrine to the Visitor Center is all right.) So plan your itinerary. There are many people who go to Hengshan to burn incense. The Martyrs’ Shrine is very nice, but there are really few people, so those with children can visit it.
