Ik vind het een geweldig hotel en zou hier weer naartoe gaan de volgende keer. Supergrote kamers incl keuken, mooie moderne regendouche en goed toilet. Ik heb niets op de schoonmaak aan te merken, zeker niet voor deze prijs.
Het enige wat ik jammer vind is dat je niet kunt ontbijten. Heb je een restaurant, kun je dan geen ontbijt verzorgen? Ja, er is een bakker in de buurt maar ‘s ochtends in een restaurant ontbijten met een warm gekookt of gebakken eitje is toch erg lekker. Het restaurant was wel redelijk, maar het is leuker om de stad in te gaan en daar wat te eten.
Let wel op dat je van tevoren een link krijgt om de deuren te openen. Ik heb beide keren dat ik er was geen link via SMS of e-mail ontvangen. Toch wel vervelend als je ruim anderhalf uur hebt gereden en je kunt niet gelijk naar je kamer. Het systeem werkt op zich super. Via de link kom je op een pagina waarmee je eenvoudig de buitendeuren en je eigen kamer kunt openen. Het reageert heel snel. Van mij zou de tekst groter mogen. Die letters zijn nu wel erg klein.

Just a weekend away, and we always book Hotels near the city center. The weapon of Hengelo is the perfect hotel to do that. This hotel is close to the center and is perfect. Very large spacious room, with everything on it very modern and clean. And the possibility to make coffee and tea in the room. Spacious and very comfortable bed and nice bath in the middle of the room and a nice bathroom. A nice couch in the room is also nice so you can sit and relax for a while. Very modern that you can use an app via your phone to open your hotel and room door. The adjacent restaurant is very nice, cozy and the food and coctails were delicious, something for everyone. There is no reception or breakfast room for breakfast. This was not a problem for us, we had breakfast with us as there is a fridge in the room. You can also walk into town and have breakfast there or get breakfast at the supermarket. Again a super nice hotel for a weekend getaway.

For us this hotel was perfect. Large spacious room, everything modern and clean. A kitchen with coffee/tea facilities. Spacious bed and nice bathroom. A sofa is also great so that you can sit comfortably. Furthermore, super modern that you can open your hotel and times with an app. The adjacent restaurant is beautiful, atmospheric and the food was delicious. See menu card on the website. Something for everyone. There is no option for breakfast. No problem for us (we got some sandwiches from the supermarket within walking distance, there is also a bakery where you can have breakfast nearby)

My girlfriend and I stayed in Het Wapen van Hengelo last weekend and it was simply wonderful! The room was equipped with all necessities and very stylishly decorated, check-in was easy and the location was great (within walking distance of the station and center)! We can say that this is the most beautiful hotel room we have stayed in. Highly recommended!😊

I thought the pillows were too thick. The shower tray was not filled with soap, not even in the room next to me. We occasionally had problems opening the door. And it's a pity that there is no breakfast service at all on Sundays. Furthermore, only praise, nice rooms, shower and toilet and very clean.

Extremely nice stay. Very spacious room with large bath in the bedroom. Bathroom en suite and toilet room. Also a nice sitting area with a nice sofa and rug. Decent size (smart) television so that you can watch without effort from the spacious and comfortable double bed. The a la carte restaurant is excellent. All the ingredients for a relaxing stay are present.
