Super 8 by Wyndham Athens TX

The staff checking in and out were rude. The floor in our room was very dirty. There was a line of dirt and dead bugs behind the furniture along the walls. The room had flies. Our room was not made up. The wet towels were removed but, no clean ones were left. The coffee pot didn't work. And the toilet overflowed and when I told the front desk when we were checking out, they didn't seem concerned. Water pressure in the shower was very bad. Even though they advertised a breakfast, all they had was coffee and some packaged cookies and mini muffins. The only positive was that the beds were fairly comfortable and the TV and mini fridge worked.

Property was ok. Needs some attention in the shower/tub area, missing grout in shower etc.

I was staying in Athens overnight and mainly needed a clean room, bed and shower which this hotel delivered. My main issue was the TV volume would never get loud enough to be clearly heard over the noise of the interior AC window unit.

My daughter and I had a reservation but did not stay. We cancelled and chose another hotel. We did not feel safe at all. It needs updating. Nothing wrong with the service, just couldn’t stay. Just wasn’t in a good area of town.

Terrible. Room was dirty and trash still in the room. Floor was filthy. No toilet paper

AC/ heat didnt work properly. Lock on the door wasnt aligned properly but was able to make it work. Room was big and clean though and bed was comfortable so wasn't all bad.

Easy check in. Fair price. Room was clean and as described. Only complaint was that none of the outside ice machines were working.

The room was very clean. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

Room had three crickets that had to be dispatched. Exterior grounds are in need of repair.
