Small room especially toliet only allowed one person to stay inside. Room looked new but mold was found on the side of the wash basin and the exhaust fan. Easy to hurt your legs and get bruised when you got out of bed because there was a wooden slats around the bed. No luggage rack; thus, the luggage could only be opened by placing it on the floor. The privacy at wellness center was poor. The female changing room door could directly go to the wellness centre but No screen between the changing room door and the wellness center. When you were changing your clothes, anyone in the wellness center could look clearly what you are doing in the changing room. The water in the hot tub was not hot enough. It was difficult to contact reception by phone because no one answered the phone at any time.

The hotel is not in the city center but it takes more than 20 minutes by bus, opposite is the forest. The room is on the first floor, the windows can be locked, there is no kettle, it may be borrowed at the front desk, the room is not large, the water heater may not be the conventional method of opening and closing, so I do n’t know if the phone came in at night and asked if I knew the front desk number Is n’t that because they do n’t use this water heater ... Breakfast is good and the sun is plentiful.

I had a very good sleep in this hotel. My room on 5th floor was facing the backyard of the Expo and Convention Centre, so the view was not even close to beautiful, but room was very quiet. Thanks to the efficient air conditioning, it was easy to get my room to cool enought for a good sleep. However, I would have preferred a softer bed and pillows. The room was clean and it had everything I needed for one night stay. Breakfast buffet was nice, nothing surprising though. The service was ok. As a Finn travelling in Finland I think the staff should be able to speak fluent Finnish, for example to to ensure the service level of elderly people. Unfortunately this wasn't the case with every customer service person in Holiday Inn, some spoke only a few words in Finnish or just didn't want to use the language. The location of the hotel is central and it's super easy to get to Tripla Mall or Pasila railway station.

Stayed here for one night, picked the location to be close range to Espoo. As a Hilton Honors member I was gifted with a bag of water at check in, always a nice gesture. Front desk staff was very courteous both checking in and out. The room was nice, plenty of spaces to sit and counters/tables to lay your stuff out. Bathroom was not so nice. Very quiet to sleep, but the bed was tad too hard for my liking. Restaurant and bar were located outside at another structure. Food was very expensive but very good. Bar was tiny, but had a nice view to the ocean. Breakfast was located next to the lobby, and was hands down wonderful! Many options to choose from, options for people with food sensitivities as well. Very attentive staff, was asked my room number 3 different times.

The room was not too big but we didn’t have any big luggage so it was fine, and it was nice too. However, we discovered a black gel nail on the bathroom floor, but since the floor pattern was stone with black, white and grey, so it is understandable that the room attendant missed that spot.

Top if you are looking for a cheap place to stay. Even their 16 people shared rooms are furnitured in a very intelligent way so they provide privacy. I was really scared of sleeping in one room with 15 other people. After my trip there, i was not anymore. Also their shared area is really comfy and has everything you need including sofas, multiple TVs and a REALLY big kitchen. It is also very clean and the staff is super friendly.

Modernised Holiday Inn which was one of the cheapest mainstream chain hotels in Helsinki. The rooms were clean & relatively quiet if you’re facing away from the busy highway behind the hotel. Breakfast was really good and had good healthy choices including gluten free section. The hotel is not in the city centre but only 2 metro stops from the central station. It is then only a 5 minute walk to the hotel. It is also a 15-20 minute walk to the ferry terminal where you can catch the 2hr ferry ride to Tallinn which hold def recommend you doing if you have a spare day in Helsinki.

Of course, a hotel was also necessary for the European Supercup. The hotel is, honestly, already used properly. My room was rather small and the bathroom was also rather small and feels little space for the toilet. The brightness to the walk and the neighbouring rooms is also given. However, I have very well sleeped there. Legendary is also the micro lift, in which actually only one person fits. For that purpose the check-in was friendly and quick. The Wi-Fi was also very good. Also breakfast was OK. Here there was a solid selection of sauce, cheese, marmelade, musli, yoghurt, rhei, fruit etc. In particular the bread was really good. Small tip: Let you give a room behind and not to the side where the tram is driving. Otherwise you hear it very strongly. There are enough free parking facilities around the hotel. There is a supermarket to do so.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located very close to the central station with many restaurants and cafes in the surroundings. The facilities are very new and clean. However the rooms are not quite like the pictures, the standard double room we booked is so small that we can only open one luggage at a time and we ended upgrading to another room type. It's not a big difference in terms of money but we feel scammed and the perception isn't great.
Another thing when we tried to use the sauna their staff told us we needed to pay for it and book a session in advance (at least two hours in advance I believe), which no one mentioned before not even when we check-in nor printed anywhere in the hotel.
Overall the hardware is og high quality and I'm quite happy with it, however, the software in terms of service and communication has plenty of room to grow.

GGuest UserThe team is super friendly & warm - always smiling & assisting with questions, directions & suggestions. Clean Rooms With 100% noise cutting windows. We stayed in the basic room facing the road & slept blissfully all nights. The Marski has the best best breakfast spread I have ever seen in a hotel in all my 27 years of travel. They have options for every kind of guest. It's unbelievably thoughtful Though we didn't go to the bar, it was packed most evenings with DJ music playing & gave the hotel a lively atmosphere

LLazysusanI booked the stay through Trip.com. Trip.com only provided a hotel voucher but when we arrived the premises, we found out it's not a hotel and there is no reception. We spent an hour to find out how to get into the apartment. The other guests here told us that they booked the stay through other operators, they received email for online check-in. We finally managed to contact Bob W and got the email for online check-in and did the cumbersome check-in process on the street. Despite this hassel, we are happy with the accommodation. The ambience is very homey and apartment is well-equipped. Bob‘s staff is helpful and response is prompt even late at night. There is free gym service (but we have no time to try it out). The breakfast arrangement is good too. There are 3 cafes to choose from and Bob W offers discount menu in these 3 cafes.

DdjkdgThis is a great addition to the Helsinki Scandic range, converting an old building into a stunning new hotel. It is pretty big (over 300 rooms) but there is enough space for everything to happen. Rooms are lovely and well designed. Rooms sizes and shapes vary because of the building conversion. Some have baths. The superior rooms are all gorgeous and face the church square. Everything in the room worked well and internal noise insulation was excellent. Good air-con and free wi-fi. Blackout curtains were efficient and lighting very well managed. Breakfast is in a vast but multi-roomed area with some seating outside in the atrium. Nothing was missing from the buffet and despite the number of guests it all worked well with plenty of seating. The location of the hotel is also good, very central, 5 minutes’ walk from the Kamppi shopping centre (and metro) and 3 minutes’ walk from tram stops.

GGuest UserWe had booked an 3-Bett-Zimmer, and there was enough room for everyone to sleep there. The room was beautifully furnished and despite the location to the main station it was very quiet. In the evening you can be sitting in the bar over the roofs of Helsinki and there you can also breakfast in the morning. Breakfast buffet offers everyone something and everything was fresh. There are only two small driving chairs, so you have to bring a lot of patience to get up! The staff were also friendly and very helpful. The baggage room is a disaster, however, because it was completely placed at our departure, and you had to climb over bags and bags to get your own baggage.

GGuest UserVery affordable, clean, safe and quiet sp**** rooms in a convenient location. Bare minimum rooms are fine. Most of the travellers are university age so showers and breakfast before 8:30 am works well if you can wake before them. Sauna as well. The rooms are thoughtfully sealed and really soundproofed well and I heard nothing outside my room. Staff is helpful and courteous. Well run in general. Breakfast is fair, but so cheap, I cannot complain. If you book ahead of time through a third party you will be offered a discount if you avoid paying for breakfast in advance for breakfast. IKEA meatballs and scrambled eggs with peas and watered down coffee - but at this price no complaints. Lots of green initiatives too. I respect this place’s owners. Much less waste than an expensive hotel.

GGuest UserIf this review was of the shuttle bus from the airport we would give it 5 stars as the driver was first class, really friendly and welcoming and did a great job as ambassador for the hotel, helped us with our luggage and advised us on our travel into Helsinki for the evening...a true gentleman. The hotel itself was ok. We managed to get a good night's sleep here, bed was comfy although someone had obviously smoked in the room as it smelled of smoking. The WIFI was not available on the night we were there ( no internet connection). We couldn't get the AC to work which was a shame as it was very warm when we were there however at least we were able to get the window open so it eventually cooled down. The room otherwise was fine and the bathroom had modern fittings. Plenty of hot water for showering before heading back to the airport by 10 minute shuttle bus ride, so very convenient for the airport. Didn't try the breakfast arrangents as it was such an early start . We liked that we could get the shuttle bus back to the airport and then get the train from there out to Helsinki centre for sight seeing and restaurants. Very good shuttle service.

GGuest UserI've stayed for only one night at the hotel but am very satisfied nonetheless! Staff was really nice and helpful, always answering any questions with patience and a smile. Great placement! You just need to turn a corner and there's a shopping center with train station, bus stop also is very close. Rooms nicely organised and clean, with just some small blemishes. Bathroom equipped, clean. Breakfast was good, buffet offers vege options, everyone will find something for a nice meal to start the day.

KKK ~Overall really nice and centrally located hotel. Close to the main railway station. All floors have different themes related to Finnish nature (Winter storm, Midsummer, Fairytale forest, Sisu, Tranquility) and the front desk let us choose between a couple of themes. We weren't sure what they were going to be like, but chose Fairytale forest, which was ok.
The room was a bit on the small side and with a view to an inner courtyard - however this was to be expected with the room type. The room was really quiet, which was a bonus in the middle of the city! Breakfast was nice, mostly European style with breads etc. Would definitely recommend the hotel for the central location and Finnish style, if you want to experience that.

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and bedding comfortable. A small fridge and microwave were provided, along with basic crockery and cutlery for eating prepared foods. Although minimal in its provision, the location was excellent for exploring the city, with a handful of great bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity and a large shopping mall a few blocks’ walk. The main oddity was the lack of *any* staff onsite, requiring us to contact their call centre to obtain the checkin code, when it didn’t come through as expected. One could do worse - I will consider using it again.
