centrally based, just 5 min walk to railway, newish building, but noise and heat insulation are in dire need of improvement. air conditioning didn't work by 28 degrees outside and glass facade, not even a fan. trams are heard on the 8th floor as if a small plane is passing by, and that late into the night. Soap splashes on the door have not been cleaned for a while and beds are small, almost fell on the floor while turning. not coming to this hotel any time soon. on the positive side: minibar is well stocked with water for 8 euro and alcoholic beverages for partying if you want all night long

I have read a reviews and decided to booked Scandic Simonkentta for 3 nights . Overall, super upset ! They don't provide slippers and electric kettle for standard room. Meaning to say, they only provide service based on room size ! Such a basic requirement, request guest to pay extra cost for kettle ! Very ridiculous and disappointed. The standard room per night I booked is not cheap too ! First time encountered this problem! Anyway, there are many good location hotels nearby. So Scandi Simonketta is not a best. don't even provide a customer service provider. This is my first and last with very bad experience. Never book Scandi Simonketta again ! Thanks

Great breakfast buffet! A choice of good value for money in Helsinki

Good and nice

10 minutes walk from Central Station, next to the chapel. The hotel's main entrance is located at tram stops No. 1, 2, and 9, making transportation very convenient. The hotel has a gym with towels, water dispensers and restrooms. The room is medium in size. The triple room we booked has a 10,000 yen and a small refrigerator, and sufficient power and wall switches. The good thing is that it can provide cleaning and changing towels every day, which is even more rare among many cost-effective hotels in Northern Europe. The breakfast food every day is similar, there are not many varieties, but the supply is sufficient and delicious. There are more rooms in the hotel, so there are more guests. From 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. is the peak period, so you may have to wait for a table. The hotel cannot offer early check-in, but does accept luggage storage. The front desk staff are polite and efficient.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is surrounded by shopping malls and restaurants. It is within walking distance and is very convenient. We stayed for two days in total and felt pretty good.

I looked for several hotels during my trip to Helsinki. I was satisfied with the location and facilities. You can walk from Helsinki Station in about 10 minutes. Kampi Chapel is right in front, so the breakfast view is of Kampi Chapel. Breakfast is also clean and delicious. There is a sauna in the basement of the hotel, but the directions to get there are not clear, so that's the only regret. The sauna is spacious and nice. The room is also clean

Environment: Needless to say, very clean Facilities: Complete, including hot water kettle and hair dryer. You need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers. Service: full marks! ! The Finnish people are really nice. After checking out and waiting for the bus in the lobby, I asked where they could buy their delicious chocolate. After a while, they gave us a few bags of chocolate powder, which was really touching.

Close to the main shopping street, there is K-super market in the shopping mall next to it. The breakfast is not as rich as Holiday Inn. It is a bit far from the train station. Dragging suitcases in the snow is a bit tiring. The nearby Eerikin Pippuri Kebab is large in quantity and good in price.

It was a short walk from Central Station. The entrance is difficult to find, but if you walk along the street you will find the entrance. The room was stylish and spacious even though I had a lot of luggage. The air conditioning was a little cold. Breakfast is very delicious. It offered the same things as Scandic Grand Central, so I thought it was a good value for money.
