Hotels Near Hermannsparken in Helsinki

I stayed there for a couple of nights in July. I really liked it. Took the train from the airport to the central station and it is literally around the corner. I’m not that familiar with the prices in Finland, but I know it can be expensive. It was about $100 USD a night. Clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly front desk who were nice enough to speak English with me. The hotel seemed pretty empty but it is large so that may be part of it. The large empty halls had a feeling of the “Shining” which I really liked, but let’s be honest. Finland is kind of spooky anyway - in a good way.

Very affordable, clean, safe and quiet sp**** rooms in a convenient location. Bare minimum rooms are fine. Most of the travellers are university age so showers and breakfast before 8:30 am works well if you can wake before them. Sauna as well. The rooms are thoughtfully sealed and really soundproofed well and I heard nothing outside my room. Staff is helpful and courteous. Well run in general. Breakfast is fair, but so cheap, I cannot complain. If you book ahead of time through a third party you will be offered a discount if you avoid paying for breakfast in advance for breakfast. IKEA meatballs and scrambled eggs with peas and watered down coffee - but at this price no complaints. Lots of green initiatives too. I respect this place’s owners. Much less waste than an expensive hotel.

Good internal structure and facilities. Very good. Instead, it is an expensive hotel. Very close to Helsinki Central Station. After taking the train from Helsinki Airport and arriving at Helsinki Central Station, the first huge and handsome building you see when you come out of the main gate is the Sokos Hotel. Sokos Hotel is a hotel that costs approximately 190 euros per night. If you look to the left from the front, there are a number of buildings, one of which is the Grand Hansa Hotel. From the outside, it is an unremarkable hotel. The 'Grand Hansa' hotel is a hotel that costs approximately 350 euros per night. It's expensive, so it's definitely a good hotel. There are various amenities, including restaurants and shopping, right in front of the hotel. You can buy clothes, shoes, and cosmetics at the Stocmann Department Store right in front. There is also a large bookstore nearby.

The team is super friendly & warm - always smiling & assisting with questions, directions & suggestions. Clean Rooms With 100% noise cutting windows. We stayed in the basic room facing the road & slept blissfully all nights. The Marski has the best best breakfast spread I have ever seen in a hotel in all my 27 years of travel. They have options for every kind of guest. It's unbelievably thoughtful Though we didn't go to the bar, it was packed most evenings with DJ music playing & gave the hotel a lively atmosphere

The location of the hostel is perfect—close to public transportation and the main tourist attractions in Helsinki. It was clean and calm. The bed has a curtain, a mirror, plugs, a lamp, and shelves. The hostel emails all the codes for the building and the hostel for easy check-in. There was no one at the reception when I arrived, but a welcome card was left with my room key. It was unacceptable that a low bed was not reserved for me. It was a nightmare to go to the upper bed.

This is a great addition to the Helsinki Scandic range, converting an old building into a stunning new hotel. It is pretty big (over 300 rooms) but there is enough space for everything to happen. Rooms are lovely and well designed. Rooms sizes and shapes vary because of the building conversion. Some have baths. The superior rooms are all gorgeous and face the church square. Everything in the room worked well and internal noise insulation was excellent. Good air-con and free wi-fi. Blackout curtains were efficient and lighting very well managed. Breakfast is in a vast but multi-roomed area with some seating outside in the atrium. Nothing was missing from the buffet and despite the number of guests it all worked well with plenty of seating. The location of the hotel is also good, very central, 5 minutes’ walk from the Kamppi shopping centre (and metro) and 3 minutes’ walk from tram stops.

The overall location is in the center of Helsinki, about 800 meters straight from Helsinki Station. It is very convenient to enter and exit. If you are traveling alone, it is a good choice. Before checking in, be sure to pay attention to the email you bound to receive a check-in reminder. You need to fill in your You will only receive your last assigned room number and accommodation password after check-in information. They are self-check-in, there is no front desk service, there is no luggage storage service in the lobby, and the hotel does not have slippers. You need to provide your own slippers.

Small room especially toliet only allowed one person to stay inside. Room looked new but mold was found on the side of the wash basin and the exhaust fan. Easy to hurt your legs and get bruised when you got out of bed because there was a wooden slats around the bed. No luggage rack; thus, the luggage could only be opened by placing it on the floor. The privacy at wellness center was poor. The female changing room door could directly go to the wellness centre but No screen between the changing room door and the wellness center. When you were changing your clothes, anyone in the wellness center could look clearly what you are doing in the changing room. The water in the hot tub was not hot enough. It was difficult to contact reception by phone because no one answered the phone at any time.

The location is in the middle of main station and ferry terminal, convenient if you are visiting Tallin as well. The room isn't very big but with everything needs, the outdoor pool and sauna is one of the highlights, just the weather is too chill to stay long around christmas time. Breakfast has much options, mainly in Finish style with much variety. Overall speaking, it's a great deal of money with the service, location and facilities, even for peak season.

Great hotel, here is some thougts: Pros: - The hotel has spacious rooms and good beds. - It is very cheap, and with the free S-Etukortti you can get 25% off the price. - There is free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby. - Location near metro station, and there is mostly some offices, so the area is super quiet in weekends. - Check-in at 12.00 already. - Co-working area in lobby with some vending machines. Cons: - Not that much tourist attractions nearby -Breakfast not included
