Castle Gate is a super clean, well-maintained campground with a friendly staff. The only suggestion I have is to stock ear plugs in the general store. If you're a light sleeper, the highway noise could keep you up at night.

The good: The cleanest and nicest restrooms I have ever seen! Very level lots with lots of room! Very nice picnic table Very clean park! The bad: We chose a spot next to the creek. Lovely creek, however just past the creek was the highway, very noisy On the other side of the park was the train station. Very noisy. I would still stay again.

First off this was just a long weekend getaway for my wife and I. I first saw this rv park on Facebook and that you could ride side by sides right out of the park. I found that the park is large and spacious and quit the trains that go buy you don't even hear. The staff was nice and helpful when I had questions. I had only one issue and the was minor, the RV dump was way to far back for me so I just had to back up and clean out when I was leaving. Not a big deal. We will stay ther again. If you stay here you need to eat at helper Beer the food is amazing.

Nice setting. Super nice professional managers. Convenient location. Very clean. 2 entrances to river trail. Near train yard. No train whistles. We could barely hear trains when in our RV. Very nice town with a few great restaurants. This RV Park is definitely on our short list of places on our way to Ouray.

Nice campground with spacious sites, full hookups, great WiFi and cable. Facilities were new and immaculate. Friendly staff, very clean orderly campground. Trees provided nice shade and the bunch grasses planted between the sites added a touch of screening. The Price river flows along one side of the campground.

We enjoyed our 1-night stay at Castle Gate RV Park. This was one of the friendliest places on our 2-week RV trip, from Colorado to Boise. Nice amenities, clean bathrooms with roomy showers and plenty of space between sites with shade trees! Cute little town - loved the trains! Wish we had more time to explore! Will definitely return :)

Visited 6 days from Colorado with our toyhauler. Brought our Polaris RZR to explore the backcountry trail system. One of the best all around trips we’ve had. Campground is great, plenty of room and meticulously maintained. Nice little store and private bath/shower combos. The little town of Helper is great. In addition to the great 4wheeling, the area is filled with the early days of mining history. Can get free ATV trail maps at the BLM office in Price. Helper also has a great atv and motorcycle shop if needed. Will definitely be back.

A really nice RV Park. Sites are gravel, level and spacious between sites. Showers/Laundry rooms are well maintained and clean. Camped in the “no smoking/no campfire” row. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Walking distance to historic downtown Helper, UT. A few good restaurants in town as well. Would definitely stay here again.
