Lovely sea view room was very clean bed comfortable can't fault my stay lam a solo traveller and the staff were very helpfull and reassuring as iam an older person .the hotel is close to the shore and shops there are excellent resturants chinese Indian Italian Spanish,when the sun shines overlooking the Loch is stunning .

The hotel is well located for Helensburgh/train station etc with ample parking. The staff are very helpful but then it all goes wrong when you get in the room it is very dated and the bathroom needs to be refreshed. You can literally hear everything in the rooms surrounding yours and the mattresses need to be binned and more comfortable ones purchased.

So much more than just a Travelodge, uninterrupted views out over the Clyde, sparkling in the May sunshine. Unfortunately the beer garden is under refurbishment at the moment, we will just need to visit again to see it completed. Our visit was at the weekend , so no noise! Such a lovely stroll along the front to the shops/ restaurants, there is a bus stop right by hotel if you need it. We can’t wait to stay again, staff ever so helpful, even had curtains closed on arrival to keep midday sun out of south facing room. Much appreciated. Thank you Travelodge, we’ll be back!

Great service again from staff and great location. Would be better still if place was decorated internally and externally....plus restaurant was superb. Noticed external signs had come loose and placed on ground - it would be good if Travelodge HQ sorted.

Lovely view of the loch and surrounding hills, friendly staff and nice and close to the town centre and all the pubs restaurants and shops

Pretty run down and in need of renovating, ah wait looks like it's under way , Now for the review, room basic but bed was comfortable , view over the water was great , price was good ,if you stay here and can eat at weather spoons great combo for prices DO NOT EAT onsite in the commodore or whatever it's called ,over £60 for a pizza a hunters chicken ,one glass of wine and a bottle of cider, no stand and deliver or a mask in site

I have stayed here a few times while visiting family - the hotel is reasonably priced and very convenient being on the seafront near to town. It is clean and comfortable and having a seaview was a bonus! We ate in the attached restaurant which, while not cheap, was very friendly and served a beautiful meal. Booking online was very easy and straightforward and it is now my go to hotel and I'll be back in a few months.

Stay in Travelodges a lot. I love staying in this one when visiting family. Helensburgh is a lovely town and the Travelodge is in a fab location overlooking the seafront. Its great value, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and I can take my 2 dogs

The hotel is very dated.on arrival the sign has fallen down and rotten. Waited for star to arrive to book us in. Paid extra as only room available,£10 for a posh coffee pod machine and 2 Kit Kats Limited power sockets.That old that key was given for access.Money to be spent on hotel but the travel lodge desperately needs it.
