Exceptional! From the moment we checked in, the owner Paul was an absolutely fantastic host, he and Jared have created a truly brilliant concept here at the inn and farm. The breathtaking Montana expanse is a perfect backdrop for this gorgeous historical home. we’ve found a little slice of southern France minutes from downtown Helena complete with the “je ne sais quoi“ that only comes from the passionate owners and chef. The farm itself is a working 42 acre farm with all kinds of adorable animals, complete with Toulouse the elderly, yet endearing farm cat with whom I shared many a fabulous meal with. The main home is beautifully and lovingly restored. A must see for any lover of historical architecture! However, we opted for a more adventurous lodging option; and stayed in the charming off-grid Tiny House. Not only is it very “Instagramable” but the attention to detail and efforts that go into creating an eco-sustainable option do not fall flat! I hope to be back very soon! Which brings me to the food, what can I say other than, exceptional. The chef, (straight from France) delivered what could only ever be executed by a French master. The farm to table ingredients emphasized the classic technique and creativity in the best way possible. The generosity of the owners and kindness of the staff was simply icing on the perfectly French cake. A must-stop for anyone visiting Montana.
