Is this the setting for White Lotus Season 3 or a German version of Fawlty Towers? This hotel has ONE amazing feature, the view. And the owners unfortunately are convinced that this is enough to ask premium prices for a 'suite' that was far below par (see photo of the sofa) and way too expensive (no airco, no bathtub, simple shower, cheap soap in fixed dispensers). In everything you feel that the owners essentially hate clients and only want their money. This is felt in all the small things that make a hotel stay pleasant and comfortable. It's the unfriendly way they respond to questions, the inability to bill drinks and meals on the room, the TERRIBLE beds, the unwillingness to provide information and, last but not least their inability to accept responsibility for their mistakes. In short, this hotel could be the best hotel in the region, if only the owners/managers would understand the meaning of the word 'hospitality'.

I experienced very unfriendly people (different people at different times - from reservation to stay) they did not show to me any willingness to host or serve, no interest in the person but the money. No interest to welcome me or to support my stay with information.

ein sehr schönes, ruhiges Hotel. Allerdings war ich auch in der absoluten Nebensaison vor Ort. Die Zimmer sind sauber, der Service freundlich, alles was man erwartet wird erfüllt. Der Blick auf den See ist wunderschön, die Sauna war jeden Abend offen und angeheizt.

La vue est sublime. La région et surtout le lac sont magnifiques. Hôtel confortable et très bien situé. Le restaurant et la terrasse sont très agréables. Accueil et service très sympathiques. Très grand parking. A deux pas de l'embarcadère. Belles chambres très bien équipées.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön am Rur Stausee. Leider gab es keine kostenlosen Stellplätze, sondern die Aussage, man soll am Kassenautomaten die „Karte verloren Taste drücken“, dann muss man nur 4€ bezahlen! Das Frühstück ist auch nicht der bringer, da habe ich schon in günstigeren Hotels besseres Frühstück bekommen. Die Auswahl an Wurst und Käsesorten ist sehr Mager. Die Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlage, das W-Lan ist sehr langsam, in der Dusche läuft das Wasser auch nicht besonders gut. Handwaschbecken sind scheinbar für kleine Kinder gebaut, da kann man als Erwachsener mit größeren Händen nicht vernünftig die Hände waschen. Leider nie wieder.

Hotel ist okay, aber teuer. Essen ist eine Katastrophe. Sehr teuer und nicht mal auf dem Niveau einer Krankenhauskantine. Höhepunkt war ein „Steak Luxe Frites“, das unabgesprochen nicht medikm sondern durchgegart war, nach nichts schmeckte, aber feinschmeckerlike kostete: fast 29€. Muss man sich trauen, aber offenbar finden sie ausreichend „Opfer“ für ein solches Preis-Leistungs/Nichtverhältnis.

Das Hotel sehr schön, sehr schöne Aussicht, Zimmer sauber, viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Frühstück war nich okay. Das Restaurant nicht zu empfehlen, die Speisekarte bietet nicht viel Auswahl, das Essen war miserabel, für den Preis komplett überteuert.

Pour une visite professionnelle, j'ai passé une nuit dans cet hôtel en bord de lac. Malheureusement, le climat de juin 2024 était pluvieux et frais, ce qui a rendu le lieu un peu triste... Hôtel donc un peu isolé, qui en saison doit être fortement fréquenté sur sa terrasse vu la taille de parking à côté. Accueil correct en anglais, chambre donnant sur le parking (alors que la réservation était pour une chambre avec vue sur le lac), très propre, bonne literie, pratique, confortable mais classique. Bon Wi-Fi. Petit déjeuner buffet très correct. Restaurant le soir: plutôt très bon. Par contre, le service fermait tôt, vers 22h. Après plus moyen de prendre ne serait-ce qu'un verre. Il n'y a pas de distributeur automatique et le mini bar est vide ! Décevant pour le niveau attendu. Mon plus gros problème est le parking devant l'hôtel qui n'est pas géré par celui-ci et est payant. Ce n'est pas cher (4 EUR pour 24h) mais il faut payer en espèce à un parcmètre. L'hôtel n'offre pas de carte pour sortir. C'est vraiment étrange et vu la taille du parking, on se doute qu'en saison, cela doit être pénible de trouver une place.
