Nice hotel in a wonderful setting, rooms nice and big well fitted out, pillows terribly soft, beds OK. Staff friendly but a bit chaotic in places, nice bar but 10,50 for a glass of very simple wine is a bit much.

WORST HOTEL EVER! On the second night there was a big party going on inside the restaurant with the doors open and in the garden. With the paper thin walls we could hear everything. After midnight we tried calling the reception because of the extreme noise outside. No answers and we had to go downstairs. No staff present, except the security guy that did not help us. There was a big group party hosted there with an eventplanner and with no one of the hotel to take responsibility to make sure the party ended before midnight. The party was going on from 8 until 3 in the morning and we have not slept! Drunk guys everywhere throughout the hotel. The hotel does not care for their other guests and their safety/wellbeing with no staff present after 11 o’clock at night. We were so angry and obviously could not stay another night with the chance of having another disaster and went home a day early. Our holiday was ruined and our money was gone. You cannot count on the hotel to help you when you have problems with other guests. Furthermore, the hotel was very old with thin walls so you can hear every small noise, old/not working sauna room where you have the pay for, old furniture in tiny room, a very small outdated gym with a few broken (“fixed”) machines and a boring, small breakfast buffet. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL if you want to sleep and enjoy your stay.

Sinds de overname door de Fletcher groep is de kwaliteit sterk verminderd : - geen water meer op de kamer - een onfris ruikende koelkast - uitchecken om 11 uur en om 5 na elf was de bagage, jassen edm uit de kamer verdwenen. Schande want de sleutel werkte nog en in de jassen zaten de geldbeugels met alle krediet kaarten en id bewijzen - ontbijt met roerei uit pak (hele dag maagklachten) en broodjes die naar karton smaken

Het hotel is mooi gelegen, grenzend aan een beboste vallei waar beneden een beekje stroomt. De wandeling ernaartoe kruipt bij het terugkomen wel in de benen. De autoweg via Düsseldorf is geen lachertje want mits wat tegenslag rijd je je vast in een opstopping. Bovendien wijst de navigatie je vaak de verkeerde kant op, maar dat kon aan de wegenwerken liggen. Over het hotel zelf: weinig reden tot klagen. Zeer rustig en prima bedden met uitzicht op het bos. Vriendelijke bediening. Het restaurant vond ik erg duur, en de kaart was vrij beperkt. Het hotel is pas overgenomen door Fletcher en je merkt dat de bediening niet echt vlot verliep. Het personeel heeft de kneepjes van het vak duidelijk nog niet in de vingers. De kamers boden alles wat een gast verlangt, ook een koelkastje, koffiezetapparaat en waterkoker. Erg proper en badkamer met douchecel. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en erg lekker. Er zijn ook voldoende gratis parkeerplaatsen bij het hotel. Opvallend veel Nederlandse bezoekers, maar dat kan ook gelegen hebben aan het goedkope kennismakingsarrangement dat Fletcher aanbood om bezoekers te lokken. Behalve de rit ernaartoe vond ik het hotel een aanrader.

prima hotel. ligging is er rustig / in het groen aan de rand van het dorp. alles ziet er netjes uit. vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. nette en schone kamer. eten in het restaurant is erg goed. zeker een aanrader - min puntje, het is overal erg warm.

Klasse Hotel. Nur der Preis für das Frühstück ist nicht gerechtfertigt. 21 Euro für ein Standard-Frühstück ist viel zu hoch. Freundliches Personal und hilfsbereit. Komme gerne wieder (dann evtl. ohne Frühstück). Vorteilhaft ist auch die ruhige Lage.
