Location is the biggest attribute of this hotel as the views up the valley towards the Gross Glockner are its prime strength, followed by kind staff. The breakfast is above average, with many choices. The major weaknesses are it is fairly spartan and the overall ratings in our opinion are well overdone (we'd rate this overall closer to 3.5-3.8 based on numerous other reviews elsewhere in TA).

Amazing hotel in an amazing spot. The hotel is rustic but clean. Rooms are spacious. The staff are friendly and the service great. We had a nice breakfast. We went in the summer and things were very quiet which was great to enjoy the spectacular views

The hotel was excellent and there was a beautiful view of the church and mountains. There is an easy access to the Hochalpenstraße and there are supermarkets nearby. The breakfast was so delicious and there are many foods such as sausages, eggs and doughnuts.

Lovely family room with plenty of space and beautiful views from the balcony. It was too hot to use the sauna sadly but the area was very nicely presented. I expected the mentioned robes to be in the bedrooms rather than the sauna and tea and coffee facilities in the room would have been good. Great breakfast & warm friendly staff

Great hotel with great hosts.We arrived in a downpour but the following day was glorious. The room was lovely and large and would definitely stay again. Really handy if you are driving the pass. Breakfast was lovely with loads of choice which set us up for the day.

The nicest place we stayed on our three week trip. The staff was very friendly, large room with sitting area and great balcony, great views, very comfortable. Excellent breakfast as well with scrambled eggs.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Our room was big and spacious and every corner was clean. On our 3 week travel we rated Hotel Kaiservilla's breakfast as best of all hotels we visited. The lady in charge off breakfast was very nice with a good service attitude. I really recommend this hotel to everyone.
