Fantastic cozy hotel, well located in the small town. On the other hand, the village is so small so all the hotels are centrally located 😁 Nice and big rooms, we chose a junior suite with a view of the mountains and the valley with a balcony. Worth every penny, fantastic view. large furnished balconies. The breakfast is absolutely incredible. Free parking is available in a parking garage 200 meters from the hotel. Can warmly recommend this hotel.

This is a wonderful place. Spotlessly clean, well appointed, and with a staff that goes beyond the norm with their friendliness, professionalism and helpfulness. The restaurant is great and the breakfast buffet is far above average. This was my second stay here and i definitely want to return. The setting is right out of an Alpine storybook. I commend the owners and staff!!

Great location in the center of heiligenblut with direct view of the Großglockner directly next to the church … very nice, very competent people.. we spent a nice „naturally airconditioned“ weekend in a two level suite with direct view to the Großglockner.. the food was great, the spa was relaxing ( just a whirlpool was missing) .. one star missing as we had some unrelaxed discussion at lunch as we were not aware that we have to reserve a table beforehand even as house guest - it disrupted the mood to be treated as exceptional case .. also the early breakfast closure at 9:30 on the weekends is interfering with relaxation- as it is distracting to hear regularly that it is still ok to stay steated every 5 minutes

I found this hotel on the heligienblut tourism website. Housed in a chalet , this 4 star hotel is welllocated opposite the bus station & will be convenient for travellers relying on public transport. The hotel is also near to the cable car ride & the starting point for snowshoe hikes organized by the national park rangers. My room is clean , comes with an attached bathroom & a balcony. Standing at the balcony, guests get a panaromic view of the mountain & the iconic church .The breakfast is an absolute treat . Raw salmon sashimi is served along with different types of bread , cereals, ham, bacon & cheese platter. A chef is present at the breakfast table. I tried the Austrian oat porridge served with white sugar . I love the pancake served with syrup & cinnamon -a treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. This hotel owners also run the intersport store & hotel guests get discounts for purchases of sporting equipment from the store. The intersport store also rents out snowshoe hiking boots & tobbagan/wooden sleds for sliding down snow slides. The restaurant serves gourmet meals . I sampled their tasty baked seaperch & the tender lamb stew . My only quibble is that the food is saltier than what I am used to. The lounge with a traditional wood fired fireplace is a comfortable place to type emails & update your journals at the end of a travel day. Oh yes, remember to bring your swim suit . There is a heated swimming pool in basement 2 of the hotel. Sit on 1 of the comfortable rocking chairs while you read or get lulled to sleep . There are 3 spas in basement 1 of the hotel . The 3 spas are set at 3 different temperatures . There is a woodfire in the Finnish spa. Guests can also prebook the services of 2 expert masseurs. Hotel staff are polite & helpful . Overall, I will recommend this hotel highly to everyone heading to Heligienblut .

This hotel is pure class from top to bottom. Situated in the beautiful alpine town of Heiligenblut, from the hotel itself you’re treated to truly fairy tale views from the gorgeous Church to the magnificent mountains. The staff is warm, friendly and thoroughly professional. Parking is in a garage, free of charge, 200 yards and a quick, easy walk away. And even during the very short walk one is treated to the magnificent views!! You’re situated right on the road to take you to the breathtaking heights of the Großglockner itself and the Franz Josef Höhe. If your looking for al alpine treat in a magnificent setting and at a hotel where one is treated like royalty, stay at this hotel. It’s truly wonderful.
