Ecome Hotel

I’ll start with the positives. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the train station, it is very clean, there is a good breakfast and we found the staff to be lovely and super helpful. The hotel seems to run on the idea of ‘economy staff hours’. We were lucky to arrive on Friday evening at 7 pm just before the receptionist finished. Again, in fairness I had received very clear instructions on how to retrieve room keys but it would be normal to have a receptionist until 9/10 surely? I was also surprised to discover that the hotel does not have provision to store luggage. My friend and I were in Heidenheim for a football match and needed to store our backpacks until after the game. The LOVELY receptionist offered to store our bags and actually come back to work in order to give us our bags (over and above service!) but I felt uncomfortable expecting her to do this (and just as well as I got the time of the game wrong - pesky UK time on iPhone) so we looked to see if there were baggage lockers at the station - thankfully there were so we used them. Staff - 6/5 Hotel policies 3/5

For the first two days life at Ecome Hotel was very good but as time goes on they started to treat us like animals, our rooms were not cleaned they dont even want to change the towels, and the worst thing is even some of our team members discriminated directly by the Hotel's receptionist.
