sehr verwinkeltes älteres Hotel. Unsere Zimmer waren unter dem Dach, wo sich im Mai schon die Wärme staute. Erreichen konnte man die Zimmer 2 Etagen mit dem Aufzug danach 5 Stufen runter und 2x 17 knarrende Holzstufen wieder hoch, dh. gehbehinderte Gäste sollten nur bis zur 2. Etage wohnen. Das Hotel liegt nah an der "Partymeile" wo bis spät laut gefeiert wurde. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön. Das Restaurant haben wir nicht ausprobiert, da es sehr hochpreisig ist und Frühstück hatten wir auch außerhalb in einem Cafe und nicht im Hotel.

Overnachting gehad in dit hotel voor de terugreis van Italië naar Nederland. Prima kamer, goed sanitair en fijne bedden. Kortom, heerlijk kunnen slapen. Het hotel bevindt zich in het oude deel van Heidelberg, winkelstraat en het kasteel zijn op loopafstand. Ontbijt was echt super geregeld! Broodjes, yoghurt, muesli, vers fruit, sapjes, koffie/cappuccino/thee, melk en water. We konden zelfs eieren bestellen (gekookt, omelet, spiegeleieren, wat je maar wilde). Personeel is vriendelijk en spreekt naast (uiteraard Duits) ook een goed woordje Engels. En kunnen je ook tips geven over wat te bekijken in de omgeving. De ontbijt kamer hing vol met oude foto’s van de regio, ambiance was super.

Romantisches Ambiente in einem wunderschönen Fachwerk-Altbau mitten in der Altstadt. Steile Stiegen sind allerdings eher nicht für alle geeignet. Sehr saubere, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer, unheimlich nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal und ein kleines, aber sehr hochwertiges Frühstücksbuffet in einem gemütlichen schön eigedeckten Gastraum. Kaffee und Eier werden frisch zubereitet und serviert, die Brötchen ein Traum! Leider finden Veganer dort die üblichen Probleme wie in fast allen traditionsreichen Häusern im Ort... Extrawünsche werden aber sofort erfüllt! Sehr aufmerksam! Und....das erste Hotel seit... ich weiß nicht wann... in dem man beim Frühstück nicht eine einzige Plastikverpackung aufmachen musste! Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt, auch wenn die Nacht eher wach war, weil es auf der Party gegenüber unglaublich hoch her ging, so dass an Schlaf trotz geschlossener Fenster nicht zu denken war. Aber nun...wir waren auch Mal Student und freuen uns riesig, dass die Studies jetzt endlich wieder normales Studentenleben leben und ausgelassen miteinander feiern können. Und wenn man in Heidelberg in der Altstadt ein Hotel nimmt, rechnet man auch damit. Es war so schön bei Euch!
