The room is very clean and the location is pretty good. It's only a few hundred meters from the train station and only takes 10 minutes to walk. The two straight roads are easy to find. The price is lower than that in the old town. However, it is very nice to walk to the old bridge every day and come back to rest at night. I highly recommend it.
The hotel reception staff was very friendly and provided a lot of help. This was the most satisfactory booking during this trip to Germany!

The room is neat and clean, large enough, with a balcony and a small kitchen. The service staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in early and directed us to the free parking area. It's a little far away from the attractions, so self-driving is the best option!

There was no prior notice before check-in that you need a password to open the mailbox to get the room card. There was no one at the front desk. It took me several calls to find someone to solve the problem. It took a while to get into the hotel. There was no service at all.
Room facilities are dusty and make people feel untidy

Pro: -very nice rooms with good bed, nice shower and small kitchen for coffee and simple cooking - choose a room at one of the top floors so you have from the balcony a bit of a view - easy to reach from Heidelberg Hbf train station parking either in parking under hotel (8 euro) or for free on a few places on the street. Con: - this neighborhood South Heidelberg feels new and industrial so don’t expect to see the old town, but that’s easy to reach by tram or local train.
