First, when I arrived at the hotel and told them I'd booked online, the owner replied that they hadn't received the call. He reiterated that it was a Ctrip booking, which only made me reluctantly check and confirm it was. Second, perhaps because Ctrip offered a lower price, they gave me a fifth-floor room with no elevator, and even asked if that was acceptable? Haha. Third, when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night, a cockroach crawled all over the place. Fourth, I don't know if it was a local custom or something, but someone nearby was screaming hysterically, and it continued until after 9:00.
