The room environment is good, and the handsome guy at the front desk has very good service. My order has not yet arrived at the hotel, but the handsome guy has already started making arrangements. It was a great experience when I went to Hefei for the first time. I will definitely stay here again if I go there in the future.

We had a great weekend stay at the Crowne Plaza. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub (but didn't get to try the sauna or steam room). It's in a great area near some good restaurants.

The hotel's services and facilities are top-notch. Although the place for breakfast looks small, it is very rich in variety. There is also a special restaurant in the hotel, and it is not expensive to order. The hotel is very new, it feels like some places are still under construction, the room facilities are very complete, the minibar is free, and the round bathtub is very comfortable to take a bath in. The most surprising thing is that each room is equipped with a Siemens washing machine, and free Laundry beads are very convenient, which is quite rare in five-star hotels, so I must give it a thumbs up. The only downside may be that the location is a bit out of the way, but I feel that Hefei's online car-hailing service is quite easy to call and not expensive.

This restaurant started out as a restaurant. Their restaurant is right next to the hotel. The food is served very slowly. The ingredients are very fresh and taste great. The restaurant is great. But they are really unprofessional in running a hotel. The bathroom design is very unreasonable, the space is small, and there is a transparent bathroom and toilet. It is very inconvenient to use inside, and there is no water. The bathroom is sprinkled and it is not easy to dry. If it were not located next to the University of Science and Technology of China, this hotel would be equivalent to a relatively cheap express hotel with a strong B&B style.

As a frequent traveler, I can say that this is one of the better value Grand Hyatts, and better hotel offering of the city. Rooms are spacious, clean, carefully designed. Staff speak English, are helpful and friendly. Facilities are on point and more importantly well maintained, especially the Gym. Location wise the hotel has pros and cons. Starting with the pros. Located above one of the most premium mall of the city. Hence, restaurants (Italian, Thai, various Chinese and vegetarian options), coffee/tea houses, and pubs are plentiful. Furthermore, easily accessible by taxi as it is near Hefei’s main roads. However, should you need to travel by metro, then the location isn’t too convenient; the nearest metro station is still 15 minutes walking distance.
