Ended up paying twice as they had no account of my booking , even though I showed them my bank account . Sent them statements from both payment methods and they still said we have no booking for you. Had to chase through credit card company when I returned to Uk . Countless emails to the Heerlen hotel and head office ( not a single reply from them ) The hotel is very average , I wouldn’t say the staff are over friendly towards you.The double bed was two singles pushed together that kept spreading in the middle I will never be going back there .

Unexpected good food. I always knew Bastion Hotels as a group of affordable hotels. Since this stay I know they serve good food as well. we stayed on a Saturday and didn't feel like eating outside. so we visited the Bastion restaurant (with low expectations). We were pleasantly surprised by the menu and more surprised about the quality of my wife's fish dish and my spareribs. Great quality, good portions for very reasonable prices.

Bij aankomst netjes begroet door het personeel. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam , ze brachten zelfs mijn koffer naar boven omdat ik slecht ter been ben. Zeer schone kamers, de badkamers zijn lichtelijk verouderd maar dat heeft niks weg van de zuiverheid hiervan.

Heel vriendelijk personeel, goed en warm ontvangen, alles netjes laten zien en uitgelegd. 24/7 behulpzaam zo bleek, want we waren om 3 uur 's nachts gearriveerd en ondanks de tijd, goed geholpen!! Kamer was schoon, bed was goed, handdoeken zacht en leuk dat je kan poolen of darten in de lobby. Ja ik zou weer voor dit hotel kiezen 😀
