Fantastic little hotel, perfect for cyclists or as a base to explore the surrounding area. The owners are brilliant, welcoming, helpful and super friendly. Lovely comfortable bed, perfect after a day’s cycling. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, we only wished we could have stayed a few more days to sample all the dishes on the menu. Both the accommodation and the meals are very reasonably priced. We loved our relaxing stay, it was the highlight of our trip.

A friend and I had picked this hotel as a stop off on our way south towards Spain from Cherbourg. Right from check in it was clear that this hotel was really top notch - nothing was too much trouble, from the security of our motorcycles, drinks served in the peaceful garden, extra snacks and a really outstanding meal for what we felt was a very reasonable price, given the high quality of the offering. The staff were absolutely outstanding, friendly, helpful, such a warm and sincere welcome. Rooms were great, very comfortable decor, bathrooms spotlessly clean, free water and WiFi, and very quiet. This is really such a gem of a hotel, I can’t recommend highly enough.

We have stayed at this wonderful Inn many times. The owners have been very welcoming. The food is fantastic, from fresh croissants and baguettes at breakfast to the gourmet dinners created by Fergal a wonderful chef. Virginie is the other half of this wonderful team takes care of everything you may need during your stay. Rooms are beautiful.

This is a real gem and only 45 mins from St Malo. Run by husband and wife team, focusing on great service and wonderful food. The rooms are modern and very comfortable and clean. The restaurant is so good, that it is also popular with locals, so book in advance, if you can!

We have been using this hotel for some years now, and always get a warm welcome from Virginie and Feargal, the husband-and-wife couple who run this super little hotel. Virginie deals with visitors personally, always with a smile and ready wit, and Feargal is amazingly good in the kitchen; you won't want to go anywhere else to eat! Rooms are comfortable, individually and attractively decorated, and bathrooms are modern and up to date. We'll keep going back.

We booked the Vielle Moulin as a stopover on our way south from St Malo and spent just one night there but would have been happy to stay a few more. Wonderful hospitality and very friendly. Breakfast was perfectly continental and the location is beautiful. Thank you for a great start to our holiday!

Un hôtel restaurant tranquille en pleine campagne. Chambre simple sans chichi mais les portes la nuit sont un peu bruyantes c’est dommage. Le petit dej se prend dans la grande salle de restaurant typée très bretonne. Petit déjeuner très simple
