The location is good, very close to the National Park and visitor centre. It has a restaurant and coffee shop and a shuttle buses. The hotel is very aged, needs a full upgrade. The fan is very old and noisy. When the next door room using shower/toliet you can hear clearly. All the towels/sheets should be for many years without change, small,hard and in dirty colour. The back door has no lock, using a wooden stick instead. The cleaners and front desk are untrained, they gave us a wrong instruction to our tour and ended up we missed it. When we asked for a room service to a cleaner, 2 managers came in and asked why we needed a room service(we only need to have a new towels and get rubbish removed). We were charged $44 for a luggage transfer fees when we check out( we’re not told when we checked in).Compared with other hotels at this area, the price is much higher. Princess lodge cross road is a much better choice but it was full when we booked it

Beautiful hotel location right along the river. Convenient location to Denali NP, but there’s construction going on in front of the hotel so plan your trip accordingly.. traffic delays can be anywhere from 5-40min. Hotel: Again, great location. Poor food selections. Recommend bringing food from somewhere else before coming or some extra snacks- but bring a cooler because there is no microwave or mini fridge (which is totally fine - you’re not there to live full time). Rooms: adequate, a little outdated but you’re there for the outdoors, not to sit in your room all day. Highly recommend requesting a room with a river view. We unfortunately were on the parking lot side & heard coach buses from tours from 0600-2330 everyday.

My family stayed 2 nights in the Aurora cabin, which was immaculately clean and much more spacious than I would have expected. Self check in was easy with excellent directions to the site. Our cabin was equipped with its own gas grill, a few grill utensils, a Keurig machine, small fridge, microwave and a starter supply of paper plates and plastic knives/forks/spoons. Housekeeping came while we were out to remove our trash and restock paper goods. Our daughter has autism and is very sensitive to sounds, so I always think to include sensory information in all of my reviews. She loved that one of the beds was in a nook with blackout curtains, giving her a nice safe ”clubhouse” to retreat to after a long day, and that she shower had tile and not noisy fiberglass.
