Tatenda is a magnificent property set off the road on a hill with a beautifully landscaped yard with a gazebo where nature is on full display. My room was immaculate with a comfortable bed and frig. There was a great breakfast with fresh fruit, omelet and meat. The host Brian arranged a game drive in Kruger with Elephant Herd and you won't find a more knowledgeable guide than Trevor. This was a wonderful experience and I hope to return and stay longer.

My stay at Tatenda Guest House was exactly what I needed -- close proximity to Kruger Park, a restful place to sleep and lovely hosts if I needed anything. I didn't have much time and was traveling solo from Johannesburg. Brian arranged transport from the airport to Hazyview along with 2 tours to the park where 4 out of the Big 5! My room was spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed walking around the garden and the neighborhood. The home cooked dinners both nights were delicious. I asked if I could have a massage and they arranged for a therapist to come the next day. I felt taken care of and refreshed from my stay.

You won’t go wrong at Tatenda. It’s not far from the Kruger gates, town and other places of interest. Brian is a humble and good host. My kids loved it.

Brian, the host went out of his way to help us enjoy our stay, from selected evening game drives to local advise and special breakfast for our party of 13. Superb and a pool our children jumped in on every opportunity. Great for Kruger Park, Sudwala caves, potholes and God’s window.
