Was facilitated in every way. No lack of service. Staff very friendly and inviting. A relaxing and quiet time with my family. Will definitely return for another stay and highly recommend this accommodation as it is central to everything. We could even enjoy a day trip in the Kruger National Park just a few minutes down the road! I'm looking forward to our next stay! My wife and I loved our 3-night stay at Eagle’s Nest Chalets in Hazyview. The cozy, private chalets immersed us in nature, just minutes from Kruger’s Phabeni Gate. A special thanks to Riekie for being such a warm and welcoming host! Gravel roads, no WiFi in rooms? No problem—it made our digital detox even better. Peaceful, comfortable, and ideal for couples. Hopefully, we get to be back!

Ricky the host is very wellcoming person; very kind and helpfull. She gave me a lift from and to the taxy rank. She also organised a morning safari into the Krüger National Park for me. I enjoyed my stay in the Chalet which stays in a beautifull park. And the swimmig pool is great. Big enough to swim in it.

if you want a beautiful setting, excellent service (including transport), a spacious room and the ability to cook, this is the perfect place. Riekie is wonderful and arranged trips that were stellar. Even helped with laundry. Won’t go anywhere else if I am lucky enough to return to Hazyview.

I arrived a day before my birthday and stayed until the day after. The reception was calming and the stay with my partner was peaceful. We enjoyed ourselves. I am thankful to the management and staff of the facility so I could have the tranquillity needed to celebrate my birthday.

I last visited this place about 20 to 25 years ago when I was a kid. Whilst nostalgic, nothing has really been upgraded to accommodate the energy issues and water issues in SA. A gas stove and emergency light would go a long way and fixing the plumbing so the taps didn't run even when tightened would mean less water wastage. I don't think the main bedroom mattress had been changed forv at least 25 years, lumpy pillows, lumpy mattress and scratchy blankets, I think we can do better team Eagle's Nest! Riekie was so lovely and helpful and so were the staff, I just wish this place from my childhood would upgrade a bit. As a sustainabllility consultant, there was so much I could see that needed work. Other than that, it was a lovely two days.
