Exceptional place run by the kindest couple. Riverfront dock and water facing rooms. Charming and well done! Recently renovated interiors. EV charging onsite. Look no further. This is your place! Incredible views and all walkable to town.

I had the pleasure of spending a year at the Riverside Motel. The hospitality they provided made my long-term stay feel like home. Whether you are here to experience Hayward’s great fishing, several weekend events, or are traveling for work like me, I would look no further than the Riverside Motel. Also, the owner has a great selection of guitars he sells out of the lobby. I bought a Gibson SG my last week staying here and made a friend for life.

We've stayed in many cabins , and this is probably the nicest cabin, we've stayed in, newly renovated, 2 bedrooms , very comfortable beds, plenty of parking for our 2 trucks with trailers and sxs , riding trails close by, central to Hayward, with restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend

On a roadtrip through Wisconsin, we lucked onto this attractive and welcoming motel. The staff was friendly and efficient in booking the room. Loved the decor- woodsy but not kitschy. Very clean and comfortable. Nice deck and small dock on the lake. Nearby walking trail. Firepit available. Quiet. We would definitely choose this landing place anytime we're in the area.

This is a classic motel with comfortable rooms, free wi-fi, and lots of amenities. We’ve stayed here twice and it will be our first choice next time we visit Hayward. We had a single queen room with a private deck overlooking the water. It included a comfy sofa and a great workspace for my spouse. A microwave, refrigerator, and coffeemaker added to the homey feel. There was lots of storage space and a flat screen TV, plenty of outlets, and charming “Up North” decor. The location is ideal, just a short drive into downtown and within easy reach of a number of restaurants including The Hayward Family Restaurant right across the road. In addition the Lumberjack Village and Fishing Hall of Fame are nearby. This motel is perfectly situated for all seasons! I highly recommend The Riverside Motel!!

Highly recommended. Very clean and well maintained. Bring your fishing poles. Evening fishing off their dock is fun and relaxing. Everything you need in Hayward is within walking distance. Very nice people and we will be staying there again.

I stayed here for a couple of days with a friend. We were in Hayward to attend a funeral. We were delighted to find the room clean and fresh, and the beds were comfortable. The motel is family run and the service was excellent. The owners clearly take pride in running a great establishment. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Well ....never judge a book by its cover. Clean, quiet, fresh smelling, spacious, warm and inviting. Right on the water, ample parking, lounging deck was clean and super well appointed with chairs and flowering planters. They have a small dock that one could fish from or just relax. All very close to restaurants and bars. Quite the find!
