The Close Airport

So noisy during mid night can't sleep properly and Room was very tiny and not attached washroom

The receptionists were really very bad

Great Stay I had great time confirmation bed for an in and put stay layover. Most of the layover hotels are expensive this one is greatly priced and simple do not expect fancy it's super simple and when I say simple it's simple.Would recommend for solo travellers on a budget.

After we completed to million mile march getting to the house we were feeling like pack mules that had just been herded across the desert. We did give it a cute name though “Jack The Ripper Prospect House”. Baby we was so deep in the hood I got to watch Fridays live out of the window.

I placed a booking to stay at the Close Airport on the 25th July for one night. I checked into the property at approximately 1445pm and had vacated the property by 1500pm. The reason I vacated the property was because the advertising of the property was completely different to the rooms provided - the cleanliness of the room and security of the property was in appropriate. On walking from the bus stop to the property I was made to feel unsafe by gangs of children and men on New Road, I feel as though it should be recommended in the check in instruction for a taxi to drop off outside the property due to this concern and unsafe nature of the neighbourhood. I am a lone traveller, 28 years of age and felt completely vulnerable in this situation. Upon checking into the property the room was very small and the bed sheets had lots of hair on top of the quilt and under the duvet - small black hairs which I have taken pictures of and am happy to send as evidence. The walls were dirty and furniture in tatters, I also have photos of this. The room was stuffy and dark - I did not feel safe to stay. I then had to book another hotel 10 minutes away in order to accomodate my stay for the night costing me an additional 145 GBP. On contacting the property to resolve the issue 
no apology was given and no way to resolve the issues mentioned. Their words "no compensation will be given as we provided assistance to the mutual guest we sent our team" - I can assure you that no assistance was provided and they did not send any member of their team to the property to resolve the issue. Also in the same email they sent they referred to myself as a "he" which just goes to show that they have no idea of who was staying at the property and certainly did not come face to face with myself. Upon checking in I had to scan my ID and drivers licence on the way in which will be on their system. I am absolutely disgusted with the service that they have provided. Other female lone travellers should be warned of the location of the "accomodation" and the safety concerns - the photos on the website of the property need to be updated as the room was worse than that of a uni halls accomodation.

To much noises, very difficult to get in for checking so much confusion! In the room no where to hand the towels and clothes! Very dissatisfied
