Solid motel a few minutes in the car from town. Was one of the cleanest motels I've been in. One night stay. Got a decent rate close in. Was concerned that the road noise might prevent sleeping but the traffic subsides very quickly after 7pm. I liked having the drive up to the motel availability. Would stay again if in Hawera.

We were passing and stopped here overnight. Did not know town and just picked this Motel. So glad that we did. Some rooms have been updated \ upgraded and we stayed in #18 which had been. It was comfortable, quiet and modern feeling. Bathroom was spacious. A Gull service station is right by... very convenient. We would stay here again if ever passing in the area. If you desire a Roast meal do go to Yummy's, a 5 minute drive away in town.

Nothing to complain about with this place. Have stayed here on two different occasions for several days and have always been treated well by the owners. Rooms are very roomy and look to have been recently renovated. Always tidy inside and out. Farm animals on-site within a few steps of your back door which gives that friendly country feel. It’s about a 5 minute drive to the main street but it’s great being away from everyone. Can have a good view of Mt Taranaki if the weather is good. This would be my number one motel in NZ

We quite often visit Hawera having lived in the area some years ago, but I did not realise this accommodation existed. What a great find. The unit was roomy, immaculately clean, and with a high standard of fittings etc. It is situated right in the middle of town with super market and restaurants a very short walk away. Carolyne, our host, was very helpful and even alerted me to the fact I had left my parka behind. We will return on our next trip to Hawera.
