Tilar Siro Andamans - a CGH Earth Experience

Amazing resort. The rooms very big and clean. The rooms overlooking the pool and sea are just breathtaking. The food is top notch, including the breakfast. (It finishes fast , hotel should top it up faster) Staff is courteous and the beach ️ adjoining the resort is super clean. Live music at night !!!

Lovely property that embraces nature. Direct access to a nice little beach where you can swim or build sand castles in the shade. The staff are very friendly and always there to help you. Our experience was made extra special by Akhil, the naturalist and Sreelakshmi, the marine biologist who helped us plan our activities throughout our stay. They helped us rent scooters, took us to Radhanagar beach where they conducted a very detailed intertidal walk just for us, for free. It was very exciting and informative. They also conducted a block printing activity for us, which was also complementary. The activity was enjoyed by the 4-year old and 60-year old in our group alike. Akhil and Sreelakshmi were very accommodating of our plans which we kept changing. They recommended the best time to do each activity and visit each attraction. They took us on a scooter trip to the local villages, and took the time to explain the local flora and fauna and culture of the local population. At the same time they made sure that they gave us our privacy. Every morning we received information via WhatsApp about the activities happening at the property on that day, such as the beach clean up and special presentations. We enjoyed the food and local music at Tilar Siro. We especially liked the Khow Suey which is a Burmese coconut milk based noodle soup. We were celebrating a birthday during our stay at the property. Akhil, Sreelakshmi and others did a fantastic job organising it for us with lovely decorations made of natural materials (made by the in-house artist at the property) and a delicious chocolate cake! We also got a chance to attend a detailed presentation by Mr Anil, the GM, on the tribal communities in Andaman and Nicobar islands. It was truly eye-opening. Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend. The only downside was that the bar at the property was not open during our stay. But we were informed about this by the staff before we made our booking.

We had a very good time in Tilar Siro . It is a beach resort. Resort atmosphere is very relaxing, staff is very friendly and treats you like a family and takes care of you very well. Lakshami ( Marine Biologist ) with her colleague took us to the intertidal walk and showed us the marine life we encountered octopus , sea cucumbers or different kind of crabs and small fishes. Our dining experience was awesome our server Beauty Rose was amazing. There are some mango trees at the property. I just asked Beauty if the mangos are ripped and after some time she showed up at the room with fresh cut mango slices. Rooms are very clean and inviting. You can experience beautiful Sun rise and when come enjoy the tea in the garden. Food is very delicious. Ayurvedic massage is also offered to make you feel relaxed. I would highly recommend this resort and if we happen to visit Havelock I would stay here again.

Selma and her team looked after us and made me feel very special with all their birthday treats. The rooms are spacious and the garden with the hammocks, swing, gorgeous pool and the view of the beach are delightful. The staff marine knowledge is incredible and their values of sustainability showed through. Highly recommend

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my visit to Havelock Island. The food was excellent, the rooms were neat and clean, and the staff were extremely well-behaved and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Havelock Island.

A look at the pictures is self explanatory.DIRTY, UNKEPT and extremely basic. The lobby is unappealing and looks like a kindergarden class. Staff's uniform needs attention. Constant power breaks. Unreliable wifi. The coffee they serve you is just Nescafé!!! Hotel has NO BEACH, the few square meters in front of the property are full of corals (and garbage)  so.no swimming here. Chicken walking about in the garden... Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDABLE. Havelock island not worth the money... better chose other destinations, definitely. It has ONE amazing beach, Radanagar, and you need a car to get there. Elephant beach can only reached by trecking or boat.
