Havelock Island Beach Resort

I realise that we were there in high season and so the rates were high however I expected more for the amount we paid. This is a very average hotel, the rooms/ bathrooms need to be updated. The breakfasts are a free for all, lots of flies hovering and food often runs out. The resort was very busy but they should have had extra staff to cope. Saying that the staff were fantastic, they could not help enough! Lovely beachfront location.

Have been to this resort in the first week of January, an all girl family trip, with my sister and two young girls. The staff is friendly but for the amount we have paid (being peak season according to them, basic room costed 9,440 per night), bathrooms are just average;( not dry bathrooms, not even a curtain as partition for shower area) No deep cleaning when we checked in. The bed sheets spread were also just average. The reaort as such was good with lighting and other decoration., accessible to beach for a walk; swimming pool etc. However in front of room 505 I think, a pool facing room, water was draining into an area, which has stink of drainage. I have alerted the staff there regarding this. Breakfast area was small for the number of occupants those two days and we could hardly get a seat to sit around 8 AM. Food tasted average. Even though wide spread, I would say it was below average arrangements for the crowd they expected at peak season I have booked the room by calling a number that was available online. I want to caution fellow travellers; I was given room tariff as INR 9440 initially and then even after following up multiple times to send the scan for advance payment and for confirmation, on the WhatsApp number, didn’t receive a response. And suddenly received a message increasing the room tariff. I had to argue with the concerned saying that it wasn’t my fault that the tariff keeps changing and that they haven’t responded for my messages. Out of courtesy I am not mentioning the name of the person with whom I have interacted. At the reception while check in, Mr Amit who was a new employee was very helpful, friendly and courteous. On one night it rained heavily and we were supposed to go out to a nearby place. Staff has arranged for a drop to that place❤️ But for the courteous staff, I would have rated it a 2 star for the room tariff vis a vis the amenities provided.

One of the worst resort in my entire resort. We have order mutton and chapati and beer but which we get is one of the worst quality... chapati was 3 days old with fungus and mutton which was provided was not mutton it was something else. We order beer it was flat beer... The quality of washroom was horrible 😭 disgusting staffing and management... The response from them was like we are here on free fund... But we paid handsome amount... And received disgusting service... Never gonna recommend any of my friends, family etc. washroom are worst quality very disappointed with the all over service... Worst resort and worst mangement...

Worst experience. Very false people. Catch you in word play. Don’t keep promises. No executive is permanent, so nobody takes responsibility of promises they gave you . Don’t book this resort. Very bad experience. False people. Don’t ruin your vacation

We took a package inclusive of dinner & had a terrible experience on 27th dec @ sea dragon bar & resturant . The soup was stale & the fish starters were stale, shockingly the resurant captain / staff had a poor response. We ended up ordering food seperately though the dinner was an included package. Room no 720, 721, 719 , 718. Pathetic attitude

One of the best resorts in Havelock. Worth visiting especially if you enjoy the culmination of night life and nature. Really impressed by the service of #avinash, the main bar tender. Visit if you wanna have a memorable trip. Btw they had great decoration for christmas
