I really like Jinshui Pavilion. I booked a sea view room for one night. The room is large, the environment is good, and there are large sofas and massage chairs. There is a terrace with a great view on the top floor, the fifth floor, as well as various free drinks and ice cream. The two meals of the hotel's one night and two meals are delicious and worth a try. Dinner is served in the room, and breakfast is served in the restaurant on the first floor. In addition, the free large hot spring and the private hot spring experience are very comfortable, and it would be even better if there is a natural landscape.

I went to Miyajima on a family trip and used it for the first time. It's close to Itsukushima Shrine, right by the sea, right next to the bustling shopping street that is the main street. It was a very nice inn where you can feel the old-fashioned history in places while being well-equipped. There are many free services that are exclusive to hotel guests. There are lounges with free drinks in the lobby and on the top floor where you can enjoy the scenery. There are plenty of drinks and sweets in the room, so I didn't have to worry about spending small drinks. This ryokan responds to guests' requests as flexibly and pleasantly as possible. For example, in our case this time, when we told them in advance that there was a member of the family who had trouble walking, they set up a bed in a Japanese-style room, and changed the basic dishes that were provided to each person's taste. , Even when I was at a loss as to what to do, I was able to have a very comfortable time because I was able to immediately respond flexibly and make suggestions. The hot spring is underground, and it has an old-fashioned atmosphere with only one large bathtub. Compared to the hot spring resorts of today, it may feel unsatisfactory. rice field. The water quality has a slightly salty and smooth feel, and it was stated that the water was pumped from the source and boiled. I was able to take a comfortable bath without feeling stingy or dry even for my family members with sensitive skin. Unfortunately, there are no open-air baths or private baths, but depending on the room, some rooms have open-air baths, so you can choose according to your preference. The highlight here is the quality of the food. It is common for ryokan cuisine to have large differences in the amount of food or not enough depending on the course or price, or the impression and quality of the appearance and appearance of the image on the site is greatly different from the image on the site, which is common in large ryokan cuisine. Not only did I have no sense of failure, such as the food being cold when it was served, but rather, I was able to provide wonderful food that impressed me even more. This time, we ate in the room, and originally the Miyabi set was the basic set, but there are 4 types of seasonal course meals (Miyabi set, delicious fish, delicious meat, delicious feast) on the website. I requested at the advance reservation stage and received all of them in my family. There was absolutely no mistake in any of the courses, and the rich ingredients unique to the land were carefully prepared, and they were all very delicious. We were able to provide a supreme moment that surpassed the best by doing everything, such as making rice balls for dinner. In addition, the breakfast at the dining hall the next morning was surprisingly luxurious with a large number of items, and the amount was appropriate little by little, and the content was very satisfying. In addition, the seasoning is not too light while maintaining a gentle flavor that maximizes the goodness of fresh ingredients, and does not rely on artificial taste manipulation such as umami seasoning. It was served at a perfect temperature and was delicious and I was very impressed. Even teenagers didn't feel unsatisfactory and enjoyed it until the end, and elderly people had no problems with the temperature, seasoning, size and hardness of the ingredients. I have type II diabetes and am always concerned about my blood sugar level, but even if I eat a lot of different foods, the rise in my blood sugar level is mild and does not rise like I usually do when eating out, and I don't feel sick afterwards. so i am very surprised. I think that there are individual differences in how to feel the taste, but I would appreciate it if you could refer to it.

The service was excellent, the location was great, and the view was awesome. However, I couldn't help but be a little disappointed in the dinner meal. We had opted for the Seafood meal as we had heard great things about Hiroshima / Miyajima seafood, but was surprised to see that it was "good" but not "great". Was also slightly put off when seeing a staff chase a cockroach in the lobby. Next time I come back to Hiroshima / Miyajima, I will likely try another location.

I was actually quite nervous booking our Miyajima hotel because everything looked so dated, but Kinsuikan really did not disappoint at all. The lobby areas have not been renovated, but we booked two rooms that had just been renovated and they were awesome. The 5 of us (2 adults, 1 teen, 2 kids) probably couldve fit into one, but I dont know if they would've allowed that. The room has an entryway with a separate door to the main room. All the shows and slippers were kept here. Once you enter there is a bathroom on one side. The toilet is separate from sink and separate from the shower. You walk in a bit and the room is one large rectangle with minibar/frige immediately on one side. All the teas and snacks are included. TV on one wall. there is a sitting area that can be separated with blinds. It had a massage chair, couch and a window facing the beach and orange Great Torii Gate on the left. We really did not have to leave the hotel to see the gate. If you do go outside, it is a quick walk to the gate. Kaiseki dinner was included as well as breakfast. We did two kids meals and three adult meals. All the food was good, fresh, regional and delicious. Each room gets a private onsen reservation. At checkin, we reserved a later time slot and when we finished dinner, we tried to go earlier but there was just half the slot left, about 20 minutes. When we asked if we could choose another slot in another private onsen, they said no. So we checked out the public onsen in the basement instead. The rooftop is unparalleled. They have drinks and alcohol and ice cream and popsicles. You can sit inside or up and outside where you can see both the pagoda and gate.

What a retreat. We spent 2 nights in a family room with sea view. Real Japanese tradition. Dining and sleeping in the same room. Dlicious dinner is served by really friendly staff, who then prepare your futon for the night. The hotel has all the needed facilities (nice bathroom, drinks a volunteer in room fridge or at various places in the hotel, amazing terrace with view on the sea, mountain, shrines and temples, onsen, ypu get really nice yukata for your stay,...) Staff is really friendly. Walking distance from everything. If you are a bit sportive or like walking, do the Mount Missen walking path up and down, early in the morning. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so memorable and traditional.

We wanted the ryokan experience and we certainly got it. We arrived early so able to drop off luggage at the front. First, the hotel has pick up/drop off services for/from the pier. Just contact them to provide the time and they'll be right out front with their black van to pick you up. The staff is very friendly, and had our luggage in our room by the time we came back to check-in. We had the 308/Kaede room. Wow, it was huge. There were basically 4 rooms, one western style dining room, one Japanese style dining with tatami mats, another tatami room, and a sitting room facing the Itsukushima Jinja Pagoda. It was pricey so maybe why the hotel didn't seem full but there were so much to the hotel. While you are out, they will setup the mattresses for the night. There is also a massage chair in the room, along with Yukatas you can borrow for the stay and to use while at the onsen. As for the facilities, there is so much to the hotel. It has a cafe facing the street, and a rooftop terrace that overlooks the harbor area as well as the shrine. at the upstairs floor, there is a quiet reading room, as well as several focus rooms, and at both of these, there is all you can drink soft drinks, popsicles, beer, hard liquor, and coffee. We were up in the terrace multiple times through our stay and never encountered a soul. We opted for the included breakfast which is a traditional Japanese breakfast. It wasn't the kids' cup of tea but a great experience nonetheless. The onsen was in the basement, open to the public but we only saw staff come in to use the shower, and usually had them all to ourselves. There is a channel from the room that you can view to see if there are folks in the onsens but that never seemed to be accurate. Location was remarkably convenient. It's facing the ocean and the Shopping Street was right behind it. And couple minutes walk to views of the Itsukushima Shrine. We really can't recommend this hotel enough and worth what we paid. It lived up to our expectations and desires for the full ryokan experience.

Amazing view and great service. Very close to the floating Tori gate was a 5 minute walk away. Very nice treats all around, as well as a great dinner and breakfast experience! Make sure to save room for dinner! All around fantastic experience.

A wonderful traditional ryokan hotel on the waterfront at Miyajima with views of the famous Itsukushima Shrine torii gate. The room was immaculate and well appointed, and had a great lounge area with massage chair overlooking the water. We enjoyed the private and public baths, free drinks on the rooftop terrace, as well as a most delicious and impressive kaiseki dinner in our room. Our attendant was lovely and friendly, and took such great care of our mixed Japanese/ Australian party. The next morning we joined other hotel guests in the banquet hall downstairs for a Japanese breakfast. A most enjoyable experience!

Kinsuikan was a cozy nice hotel .The room I stayed was a small one without view,(that’s why the price was less expensive than other rooms)but I could enjoy a panoramic view from the roof top terrace instead . Also all the staff members were kind.Recommendable especially for female travelers.
