The condition of the hotel has been built for 30 years and the furniture is very old. but the room is clean There are not enough power sockets, there are only 2 places, the TV can watch Thai channels, the overall condition, if you don't think too much, it's acceptable. It is far from Hat Yai Railway Station and Robinson Department Store.

Was a very decent hostel, lovely receptionist and the room was clean - just a few mosquitoes coming in through the bathroom. The internet worked very well too, and it’s close to the centre so perfect if you are in transit and want to make most of Hatyay. The night market is the most recommendable thing to do in this small city, but would recommend to take taxi at least one way as it’s further that it seems on the map. Before going to bed we went to have a massage in the shop at the hostel, not sure if it’s their shop. This was the worse massage I had in Thailand, not just because they seemed lazy but also because they continuously talked between each other and laughing, so how can you possible relax and enjoy? Good for the Hostel, bad for the massage shop.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights. Very good location, close to the Gion Shopping Plaza, walking distance to Jinrong Market, santisuk Market, Robinson Shopping Street and Oden Shopping Street. The train station is nearby and you can see the station building from the hotel. There are also many halal restaurants nearby...you can go around nearby. The room is spacious and clean, the bathroom is good, and the room service is good. You can easily go to other places by tuk tuk or double row car in front of the hotel. But make sure you will bargain. If I go to Hat Yai, I will definitely return to this hotel.

The location was good . The service was not I expected as I ask for room make up but when I’m back it was not done . The bathroom was too small hope can get me upgrade the next time on my stay . I didn’t take in house food as I love the street food . The staff at the lobby was very attentive n greets everyone when we are going to level 1. He will be there pressing the lift even before we reach.

Pros : 1. New hotel, clean and friendly staff 2. Staff speaks decent English and mandarin. 3. Free basic breakfast till 10am and free snacks till 5pm at level 1 4. Free wifi 5. Great location, nearby 7 eleven,lee garden ,odeon shopping complex,kim yong market and opposite to cimb bank should you need atm 6. Interesting mix of tv channel with china,hk,thai and english shows ongoing 7. Pretty good set up of spacious room, safe deposit box, hair dryer and other amneties. Cons 1. Sound proofing a bit weak 2. Limited choice at level 1,you are better off food hunting outside Tip : request for higher floor My fav : usb port charger and the electrica port is universal. I dont need adapter. Yay!!

Hubby and I just wanted a short vacation is southern Thailand without too much hassle and traveling. We chose to stay in city center and required a comfortable reasonable priced hotel which was easy access to the two night hawkers, temples and the four famous markets which sold local products and wares. We found VL Hatyai after reading the numerous reviews. Our room was on the 11th floor with a great view of the city and it was spacious and clean. The twin beds and pillows were very comfortable and a kettle for making coffee was provided. A large TV with various English, Chinese and Thai channels were provided and we even had a fridge and hair dryer which were unusual for the price we paid. Due to the comfort we decided to stay 5 nights and ventured to tour outskirts of Hatyai on day trips to the Floating Market and Stainless Steel Temple.

The Train hotel is located at the same building of Hat Yai train station, it's suitable for anyone who needs to catch the early morning train or arriving Hat Yai station at late night. Robinsons department(supermarket& banks) is just 3 min walk. Room is very clean. Facilities are functional : Flat screen TV, refrigerator, bathroom with bathtub, safety box& cupboard . Staff are so friendly. When I arrived at 7.15 am,receptionist was kind to give my room at that time( so amazing). I highly recommend to stay here

I made a booking for one night well in advance via Booking.com. Close to my date I decided I wanted to book an additional night. Booking.com was not showing any availability for my extra night. On the 8 December I sent an email via Sandee Room's facebook page...no response. On 10 December I sent a message via Sandee Room's facebook page...no response. On 13 December I sent a message to Sandee Room via Booking.com...no response. On 15 December I cancelled my booking. I don't know whether this hotel is open or closed but I would advise making contact first before making any booking.
