The hotel was quite cheap and bearable with easy access to those shopping areas within 15-20 minutes' of walking distance, except for below: 1. Lack of parking lots as cars has to be on free gear all the time. 2. Air-conditioning can be really loud. 3. Noise pollution from nearby clubs. 4. Beverage sachets provided in the room but hot water at Level 2. No proper hot water bottle provided, except for small paper cups. Drinking glasses without handles were provided but not suitable for containing hot water for beverages, especially the need to travel all the way via stairs/lift. 5. Rude staff. Never in my vast traveling experiences have I been accused of breaking any house rule and was thrown with a THB2000 fine for smoking in the room. Why would someone smoke in the room when the booking clearly stated two ”non-smoking rooms”? Due to the hotel's own negligence, I found a cigarette bud at the balcony and innocently threw it into the rubbish bin without having the plan to find fault with the management over such a minor issue. Since we were traveling outskirts of Hatyai City most of the time and being environmental-friendly travelers, we also recycled our daily use of towels without the need of house-keeping. Thus, that could be the most possible reason behind the smoking dispute, of which I refused to pay. My advice: Make sure you get the staff to check on any fault in your room, even minor ones, to avoid any further dispute. They could be really strict in their house rules.

I was book Junior Suite for the hotel but once entering , there is white stain on the floor like it never clean , also some black flake around.. Reception and Housekeeping came to see and they agree to move us to a new room which is not really different but a bit better. Just only if I asked for a spare key , but she just said that is the only one keycard of this room for the whole hotel.. Okay Fine!! The next day , we need to use the room for web-meeting after lunch and ask them to make up room during 2 hours lunch outside .. I told both the reception and press the sign at the room. Once we back to set up the meeting , Room was not clean , It is really a pissed .. that we have to wait downstairs another 20 mins and have to rush back for meeting. I asked the housekeeping that how many person work as housekeeping here , she said only herself. Thats why room is dirty even it is not full. I can see how poor of the hotel's management And staff there look ignorance a lot ,, never say sorry or even offer us a drink or something , no service mind

We arrived at 7.45am after a 14 train ride from Bangkok. The hotel were kind enough to give us a 9am check in. Plenty of time to enjoy some street food breakfast before resting. Big & clean room with a comfortable bed & decent a/c. Staff friendly & helpful thought, took care of our transit booking to Koh Lipe. Very good location with plenty of food nearby & a short Grab ride to some nice bars for the evening. Second picture at Swan Pub, also recommended. Definitely come back here next time in Hat Yai. Very good value too. 👏👏👏

Booked 2 standard room for 2 night stay. Arrived at the hotel around 12.00 pm. Greeted by friendly staff and we asked for early check in and we did get it. There's a parking lot provided and since we drove from KL, this is really good. Spacious, clean room and bathroom. Mini bar with bottled water inside. Superb air-conditioning. Good WiFi signal. They also do daily housekeeping. Located within walking distance to 7-11, Kimberly Yong Market and Lee Garden Plaza. Totally surprise since the price we paid were very inexpensive.

The room is very clean. I booked a triple room with a queen size bed and a single bed, but the single bed is a separate room. I like it privacy.

Had a chance to check into Sakura Budget Hotel in Hatyai recently and found the hotel to be your average budget hotel. Priced at only about 600b per night, the Sakura Budget Hotel is located a little off downtown Hatyai (Lee Garden area) but if you have a car it is not a problem ~ only a 10 minute drive away. Check in is easy ~ 300b deposit and the staff is friendly and can converse ok in English. The hotel is quite big and they also have some 'partner retailers' from convenient shop to salon to a few restaurants including a Thai, a Japanese and a Thai Muslim outlet. Room is not too big, probably about 20 sqm with a small bathroom. Bathroom is basic with shower, wc and basin all in one - prefer a separate stall to keep the toilet dry. Room wise, I got a twin bedded room. The bed is slightly hard but ok for me. Pillows are firm. Room also come with a working desk, a mini refridgerator, LED TV, hot water making facilities and an open hanger. What i would have wished for would be for a power plug beside the bed for device charging convenience. There is a window but nothing interesting outside to see. Parking is ample and easily accessible from Rajyindee Road, one of the main road in Hatyai. For 600b I would say its not too bad of a hotel to stay but at that price range there are quite a few others in Hatyai that I would prefer over this.
