Everything was fine here, the team were lovely, rooms clean, it was just so hot inside and no air con which made it slightly uncomfortable. The rest of the hotel I have nothing bad to say though I

The location of the hotel is quite good. It is only a 2-minute walk from the train station. Tesco is opposite the hotel, and it is about a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the beach. It is also only a 5-10 minute walk from 2 pedestrian streets, which is very convenient. ; The hotel facilities are very new, the rooms are large, and the waiters are very nice; We were two adults and one child, and the waiter helped us arrange an extra bed. It was very fast and efficient, and they used brand new mattresses. Both the large and small mattresses were very comfortable; The bathroom is super big. I have been to the UK so many times and many places in the UK. It is the largest bathroom I have ever seen, a full 10 square meters; The room is an apartment type, you can cook by yourself, the kitchen facilities are also very complete and very clean👍

Good things Location is close to town Rooms and hotel is very modern and impressive and clean. Bad things Firstly when checking in the hotel there was no one on the desk so we waited outside and tried to call the number on the door for 10 minutes even though we had provided a rough check in time - this theme continued and we didn’t really ever see anyone on the desk - when we needed something the staff were very nice but often forgot to bring the items to us or said they didn’t know where it was and to ask the other staff. We were asked if we had visited before when we checked in and said no, the staff didn’t explain anything after we signed and just said “there’s this laminated stuff in your room to read through” once we had smiled and said ok they left reception and went back up to another office?? First night on the hotel we turned on the tv at 8pm and were met with banging on the wall and then the door banging and someone telling us to keep down our noise as her children were asleep. We felt awful but this was something that happened more than once and more than on one night so we didn’t bother to have the volume on after that as it didn’t matter what we did she banged and we just crept around the room whispering as it seemed any sort of noise we made we were met with the same thing from this resident. The WiFi never worked In Our room and reception was poor so we couldn’t watch tv and seems like after 10 the WiFi is switched off??we ended up using our phones with our own WiFi and signal (when it worked again very poor signal) - and again on silent with subtilies so we didn’t get any more knocks on the door.. We noticed the hotel houses a lot of people in emergency housing, this isn’t a problem for us except we were often met with a lot of weird looks and people out right asking us if we lived there..and if we were just staying there why? We do feel this should have maybe been mentioned to us before we booked as this was uncomfortable at times. The bed was so hard in our room I found it really hard to sleep at night and the covers and pillows were not supportive or thick enough… I feel this is very important when booking in anywhere - a good rights sleep is always needed when travelling. The towels in our room had makeup and bodily stains on them we asked for another towel and asked if we needed to bring the other down and were told to just leave it in the room which we weren’t really happy with but just folded it and put it away, we didn’t want to make a fuss. The outside of the building is near Yates and Wetherspoons etc, we were fine with this and quite looking forward to it until we realised the number of junkies and crack heads that would come up to us outside as soon as we left the property and ask us for money or if we had anything to drink on us - really uncomfortable. The room didn’t have a thermostat as stated and instead had a radiator which we weren’t sure how to use as there was no instructions. It managed

This location is falsely advertised as a hotel. It is not!  - your room will not be cleaned daily, no matter how long you stay for, unless you pay an extra £30 per clean. So you can keep your dirty floor and towels for the duration of your stay! Keep in mind you're already paying an extortionate daily fee to sleep. - do not be fooled by the photos, the beds are terrible, the mattresses are super uncomfortable. You can feel every spring in your back! The sheets also seemed dusty and unclean. We had to be moved rooms because the first room's bed was absolutely atrocious.  - you are given a tiny 20ml pot of shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. This of course will not be changed.  - have rubbish? Forget about it, they will only provide you with a tiny tiny toilet bin, large enough to fit a couple of tissues.  - the heating system is so bad, it will take you a day to figure it out, and when you do, it will blow hot air that stinks of burned clothes (like a hot iron just left on).  - the WiFi gets turned off in the building in the evening - the door lock stopped working so we couldn't get into our room late at night. The concierge suggested we may have to stay in another room for the night.  - the door does not lock from the inside of the room.  - the shower pressure is really good, but it only has two settings, water as hot as the caves of hell, or as cold as a Wim Hof cold plunge.  - Although the check in is 24/7 it's hard to get hold of the concierge if you do need something. They leave a number at the desk for you to call in case of an emergency, but when we tried it, it took multiple attempts to get hold of someone. We couldn't check out straight away because of this. The people at the desk, although nice, seemed young and inexperienced and couldn't really answer any queries we had.  - All the rooms are advertised as having a nice view, however, it is just a street view (which is fine if that's what was originally noted down). Perhaps a view of the local Tesco extra is what you're looking to see!  Trust me, save your money and find another location, this "hotel" just cuts corners and cuts costs in every single way. A travel lodge would be better than this place.

Room had absolutely no air flow and boiling even on a cold august day, felt suffocating, like no fresh air had been in the room for months. Either needs air con, or between guests to fully open the window. Room was modern, bed was good. I couldn’t sleep even with huge metal noisy fan as warm air moving around rather then cooling the room, kitchen looked great but couldn’t wait to leave in the morning so didn’t even use it as planned.

I stayed at the hotel with friends whilst spending a weekend in Hastings. We booked last minute and took the only two remaining studios available on the external booking site. We did not have time to look at reviews, and had we done so we would have requested rooms at the back of the hotel, as the noise from the nightclub opposite on a busy Saturday night was not ideal. Otherwise we liked the quality of the well equipped rooms, which were a comfortable temperature. However we would point out that the doors did not lock internally until we worked out that you need to tap the key fob on the outside and then shut the door to prevent it from being opened externally. This was not mentioned by the reception staff when we checked in, or on the guest information sheet in the room. It is a major security concern and does need to be addressed in the hotels procedures.
