Mallige Residency

I was on a vacation trip to Sakleshpur and stayed at “ Mallige Residency ”, Hassan for 2 nights . The idea to stay at Hassan was due to the fact it was equidistant from Belur, Halebeedu and Tourist spots of Sakleshpura. The reservations were done ahead of time Mr Puroshattam confirmed the booking on phone. The staff was prompt in addressing the queries of the reservation. Since we were a family of 4, so we needed 2 rooms . They provided us 2 rooms with road view and the best part was that , the rooms were connected rooms. The rooms were well made, with a Queen size bed, work/study table chair and a relaxing chair with a center table.. Well decorated lighting in the room made the room very cozy. In the room they had also provided a electric kettle and complimentary tea sachets, and water bottles. The room had AC as well as a TV with Tata sky working with it, though we never really used the TV. The bathroom was well done. Clean and with separate shower area with running hot/cold water . Our package also had complimentary breakfast which is organized in a separate area . The breakfast was wholesome and had a good spread , with breakfast items, like Bread, Eggs, Omlet, Idli, Vada, Dosa, Khara bhat , Kesri bhat, Tea Coffe and Juice. There is an attached restaurant with the hotel called Parijata, and we ordered dinner in our room from the restaurant. There is also a live-snacks counter attached to the hotel. They had a dedicated parking area for cars. Overall a good experience.

At first they offered us a pure used room without cleaning it. Which had dirty sheets, soiled bathroom. When we complained & and asked for it they changed the room. Which was also dirty but we had no other choice so we had to sleep the night & get out.
Palguni Residency

Easy to locate on the main road, have their own basement parking (although only about 10 odd cars can be accommodated here. Smooth & fast check-in, no special formalities were needed, except an entry into their register. Property seems to be new, very clean room, corridors, lobby area as well as restaurant. We had a very good greenery view from 3rd floor room, with a nice breeze in the evening (if windows are opened, for fresh air. Food in the on-suite restaurant was tasty (not very spicy, with efficient timely service through the day. In-spite of the hotel being packed, room service was also quick. Overall a peaceful stay in hassan, highly recommended for fellow travellers.

Except the part that we really couldn't find the hotel at 11:45 pm, rooms are hygienic, staff are good. It would be better if they put a big board/proper lighting so that it's identifiable at dark
Hotel United Kites

The hotel is ideally located for travelers who don't want to get inside the city. It's close to the main highways, is peaceful, and has plenty of parking. Very clean n well maintained, and good food too. The staff is fantastic. Very helpful and courteous. Special mention for Rajat at the front office who was a huge huge help.. We reached hotel late as we had got involved in an accident but he made sure that security and a bellboy were there to help with our luggage, and ensured that food we wanted was made and kept ready, in our room. Also allowed us to check out late as we were waiting for alternate transport to get home. My only issue was that there are no shelves or racks or even soap dishes in the bathroom which was a bit inconvenient. otherwise everything was really great. 4.5 stars is my rating.
The Pearl

I went to Hassan for a business trip. I stayed at the pearl for 1 night only. Overall it was a good experience to stay there. Location: It was hard to find the location. I asked locals for the Pearl but no one knew about it. The Pearl was earlier known as 'The Southern Star' Hotel. They haven't changed the Neon sign above their building. After crossing the building twice, I searched for pics and saw the same building for the Southern Star and Pearl. At check-in, I came to know that they had changed their name in December 2022. They are still in process of changing their name everywhere. Room: Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-lit. The toilet was clean too. Wi-Fi is ok. The mini fridge was empty and over priced snacks are there too. Service: My room had electricity issues so I asked them to fix it. They came in a minute and were polite. Food: The breakfast costs 200 pax. I didn't pay for that so I wouldn't comment on it. Overall: They need to change their terrace neon sign immediately. Otherwise, it was a good experience.
