4 Monate nach unserer letzten Tour Anfang Februar waren wir jetzt zu Pfingsten wieder im Schanzenhaus. Die Begrüßung bei der Ankunft am Morgen war mehr als freundlich. Der Check Inn wurde schon durchgeführt, obwohl die Zimmer erst ab 15.00 Uhr bezugsfertig sind. Am Abend haben wir unser schönes und saubere Zimmer mit Blick auf das Schloss bezogen. Es wurden einige positive Änderungen vorgenommen. Glückwunsch! Das Frühstück an allen Tagen war wieder sehr schmackhaft aufgebaut und reichlich. Ständige Kontrollen durch das Personal und den Koch, ob alle Speisen ausreichend vorrätig waren. Über die Feiertage wurde jeweils ein anderes Büfett angeboten. Wir hatten uns für Samstag- und Sonntagabend zum Essen angemeldet. Alles reichlich und alles sehr lecker zubereitet. Auch die Nachspeisen waren sehr lecker. Ein großes Dankeschön an den Chefkoch und seinem Team. Insgesamt sagen wir, es war ein schönes Pfingstwochenende. Leider zu kurz. Danke Euch allen. Wir sehen uns spätestens zum 2. Advent 2022 wieder. Bleibt bitte alle gesund und macht weiter so. Heidi & Uwe

Das Regiohotel liegt direkt am Bahnhof. Leider bedeutet dies, dass man die vorbeifahrenden Züge gelegentlich hören kann. Auch wenn Personen auf dem Flur vor dem Zimmer sich im Vorbeigehen unterhalten, kann man das im Zimmer leider hören. Die funktionale Ausstattung des Zimmers 201 war sauber, was von den in die Jahre gekommenen Teppichböden im Flur nicht ganz behauptet werden kann. Neben Fön, Vergrößerungsspiegel und Handtüchern stand auch ein Wasserkocher mit Tee, Kaffee und Wasser auf dem Zimmer zur Verfügung. Die Mitarbeiter waren stets freundlich. Das Frühstück war im Preis inklusive - ausreichend Auswahl. Es sind viele Parkplätze vor Ort - kostenlos. Das Wlan funktionierte unbeständig. Leider war ein später Check-in persönlich nach 21:00 Uhr nicht mehr möglich, sondern nur über den Schlüssel über den Schlüsselkasten mit Code. Das Hotel nimmt seit der Pandemie wohl kein Bargeld mehr, sodass auch Kleinstbeträge mit Karte gezahlt werden müssen. Für Zimmerreinigung muss man eine ”Zimmerkarte” in eine Box an der Rezeption werfen. Zuzüglich zum Preis muss pro Tag/Nacht noch 3 Euro Kurtaxe gezahlt werden, was kein Problem ist, wenn man das im Voraus weiß.

Ho soggiornato col mio coniuge in questo grande hotel dal 10 al 12 agosto 2023. Si tratta di un grande edifcio chiamato ”Castello” in centro a Quedlinburg, dotato di numerose camere e di varie grandi sale per la colazione al primo piano, oltre ad un cortile interno. La camera era molto spaziosa con un grande bagno dotato di finestra propria e di doccia walk-in. Il silenzio e la tranquillità notturne garantite dal fatto che si tratta di un centro storico dove circolano pochissimi veicoli. Persino l'inquinamento luminoso era assente. La colazione, servita a buffet, era molto ricca, sia di cibi salati sia di cibi dolci. Si poteva anche ordinare il caffè espresso o il cappuccino direttamente al personale. Viaggiando in moto, è stato molto comodo poter parcheggiare la moto nel cortile interno senza sovrapprezzo. L'edificio è storico, come quasi tutto il centro della bella Quedlinburg, ma molte (se non tutte le camere) sono in un ampliamento moderno, in un'architettura non pregevole. Un altro aspetto deludente è stato che il ristorante interno all'albergo era chiuso per carenza di personale. Un problema riscontrato un po' in tutta la Germania quest'estate. La ricerca di un buon ristorante aperto e con disponibilità di posto a Quedlinburg non è stata sempre facile.

This hotel is ideally situated just adjacent to the old town which is easily walkable. It is a smart, well run, establishment and some of the rooms have views of the castle. However this does mean that your room is likely to be on the main road which is quite busy. Service is good and the staff helpful. Our room was bright with high quality traditional furnishings and a small shower room. The bed was comfortable with soft pillows. The hotel has its own car park with direct access. It was secure and is a bonus as parking in the old town is near impossible. The breakfasts were served in a formal fashion which made a delightful start to the day - think white table cloths, well dressed staff, plates of meat and cheese. The place is rather quiet and there is no bar or congregating area. There is a drinks menu and you could enjoy a glass overlooking the castle (and car park) or in the dining room. So don't expect a busy social scene here.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very quietly located, though somewhat far from the marketplace. Rooms 17 have been very good for us, the beds are comfortable with high quality headsets. Taking breakfast in the blue or red salon was pleasant , the food selection is good, with quality tea of Ronnefeld and candy sugar. It is something for everyone. The hotel has sufficient parking directly at the house. If we come back to Wernerode, we will certainly choose the heritage palace Carlo & Andrée Bernard

GGuest UserWe stayed here as part of a group. The hotel was very busy with both regional and international companies. We were amazed by the size of the dining room which was expanded nightly via adjoining room partitions to accommodate the masses. Our room was large and comfy with a built-in luggage rack and plenty closet space. What is certainly weird, and maybe this is a German thing, but my husband loved the instant cappuccino packs provided in the room, but these were never refilled. In fact, our mugs were left dirty and we had to wash them ourselves. No milk or creamer are provided, so you've got to take a little jug from the restaurant. No coffee or tea supplies were refilled during our time. Others in our group had the same experience. The front office service was hit or miss and generally I found them more engrossed in their tasks like balancing their floats than to attend to customers'. A front office agent should be forward facing I feel at all times, as otherwise you're looking at the staff from the side and trying to get their attention. The buffet was quite good as we enjoyed breakfasts and lunches daily. I wish the fish was done in different styles but I liked the variety nightly for dinner and lots of vegetable options. The dessert could have been was more innovative than mousse, mousse and mousse in different flavours with icecream. Some bread pudding, proper cake, a trifle or creme caramel, meringue, etc. would have been welcomed, especially by the international guests. I mean even German desserts like Apple strudel, Lebkuchen, Plum cake or other regional sweet would have been nice. Location is halfway between the railway station and the center of town and the little red land train to the castle starts & stops just behind the hotel so this is very ideal. We enjoyed the bar in the evenings. The bartender Salvatore was a delightful character; friendly and efficient despite not speaking a word of English. We would definitely stay here on a future trip.

Tolle Lage, toller Aussenbereich, Wellnessbereich, hauseigene Bar … Wir waren sechs Tage mit 12 Monate altem Baby hier und fahren dich enttäuscht wieder ab. Gut gefallen haben uns: + das Frühstück. Alles was man braucht. Freundliche Bedienung und super Aussicht. + das Zimmer. Wenn auch nicht im Haupthaus gelegen war es geräumig und bot mit zwei Schlafzimmern die Mögöichkeit, dass das Kind nicht mit bei uns schlafen musste. (optisch wie auf den Fotos) + qualitativ gutes Kinderbett von Hauck Negatives: - unterm Bett und in den Ecken wird nicht gerne geputzt. - es fehlen ein Wasserkocher (Babynahrung) oder ein kleiner Kühlschrank - außer am Freitag/Samstag hat man keine Möglichkeit abends etwas zu trinken zu bekommen, da die Bar geschlossen hat und das Restaurant keine Getränke to go verkauft (da gibt es dann aber auch noch manchmal geschlossene Gesellschaft, man muss also wohl oder übel auf Leitungswasser zurück greifen) - es gibt keine Fahrstühle - Wellnessbereich wird gar nicht erst aufgemacht, weil die Kollegin von abends nicht weiß „wie man die Sauna bedient“, dabei wurde dafür ja mitbezahlt. - wir wurden außerdem gar nicht erst auf die Existenz des Wellnessbereichs hingewiesen worden, weil offensichtlich kein Interesse daran besteht, diesen überhaupt in Betrieb zu nehmen. - an zwei Abenden gab es abends kein Essen, weil es an Personal fehlte. Es wurde aber auch kein Ersatz gestellt oder Empfehlungen ausgesprochen. - das Abendbuffet lässt leider zu Wünschen übrig. Die kalte Seite ist zwar weitestgehend super, aber kaltes, trockenes Fleisch das wirkt wie „vom Vortag“ ist leider auch bei einem Preis von 22,50€ nicht in Ordnung. - das Rezeptionspersonal ist leider durchweg unfreundlich. Kein „Herzlich Willkommen“, keine „Hallo“, kein „angenehmen Aufenthalt“, kein „tut mir Leid“. Kommunikativ leider wirklich unterste Schublade und nicht für den Beruf geeignet. Freundlichste Nachfragen werden abgeblockt und es ist nichtmal möglich Augenkontakt herzustellen oder zu lächeln. - kein Steckdosenschutz im „Familienzimmer“! - „Balkon/Terrasse“ des Zimmers leider kaum als solche nutzbar, da quasi im Wald gelegen und verwildert - WLAN geht im abgesonderten Gebäude ebenfalls nicht. - und Housekeeping kommt um kurz vor acht ins “Familienzimmer” um eine Packung TUC Kekse als Geschenk vorbeizubringen, das man bekommt, wenn man auf die Reinigung verzichtet. Es gibt hier durchaus auch vereinzelt nettes Personal, wie eine Reinigungskraft, die Damen am Buffet und den Barkeeper, leider können diese das Gesamterlebnis nicht retten. Fur beinahe 1500€ haben wir berechtigterweise mehr erwartet.

GGuest UserOur stay at the Regiohotel am Brocken was super! We arrived at the hotel on the evening, where we were also expected at the reception and were warmly welcomed. In the room there was nothing to defect, breakfast was also good. Only the parking situation around the hotel was a little nervous because there are no registered parking areas and some other hotel guests think that then you can park so generously that other guests can then get (may) place problems. But: Have all worked well at last :-) We're happy to come back and have felt good and safely lifted up there.

AAndy 61Very nice reception, great helpful reception. Very centrally located, you come quickly everywhere. Very clean. We very much liked. The Lord from late service at the reception was very friendly and attentive.
What we didn't like is that you can't keep right in front of the hotel and then load the baggage.
The hotel has no parking space, but you can park free or cheaply in the nearby or nearby area.
We can recommend the hotel in any case.
