Well what a lovely Wetherspoon hotel in a very quiet town. The room was outstanding with no problems whatsoever and very comfortable. Parking on site or on the street which is a nice bonus. Food was exceptionally good and would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Shame on you! A drink on the terrace before we were allowed to board on the ferry. Signs everywhere which say: "strictly no smoking, this includes electric cigarettes ". All around me so much smoking and vaping that the smell made me sick! Not a single employee even trying to correct this.

Room was dark and stuffy with only a Velux window. When I spoke to someone I was told they were fully booked and couldn’t be moved. It wasn’t going great before I spotted a flea on our bed, we left that morning after staying just one of our two nights. It was a shame as it was my husbands birthday. We generally love a Wetherspoons and had never stayed at one before.

Poor service and cold food. We got our cold food before our drinks and when we asked the big tall girl where our drinks are she said it’s not my area I can’t help you. She was miserable and grumpy she shouldn’t be doing this kind of job and instead should be a receptionist at a doctors surgery where this kind of attitude is accepted

Stayed the night 7th February, girlfriend booked it for my birthday. Very impressed with the room. Had a room on the front so very light and airy. Plush carpet and curtains and very quiet considering it's above the pub.. All the rooms were being cleaned when we left and all looked very nice. Three rooms on the front, some on the side overlooking the car park and an internal room with a large skylight.. Very helpful staff, I lost my railcard and they went above and beyond to find it.

My wife and I went for breakfast today. I ordered the large breakfast and my wife ordered the freedom breakfast. Both meals arrived very quickly however the mushrooms were missing from my breakfast and both of our meals were lukewarm served on cold plates we were very disappointed.

Super nice room with all you need for a night away from home. Staff super helpful although check in took a minute as the bar was busy. Food was really good for both evening meal and breakfast. Struggled a little with where / what to do with room key upon departure.

We didn't know what to expect,we haven't stayed in a wetherspoons hotel before, but were very impressed. Check in the bar was easy, a lift to our rooms with cases and two security doors to go through which meant the rooms were quiet. A lovely big super king bed, large room all nicely decorated with a walk in shower that was clean as a whistle. Would recommend and definitely stay again

The service in this establishment is second to none. I would be doing the staff an injustice if I mentioned anyone in particular. To emphasize it is superbly managed and brilliantly hosted. The cleanliness is faultless both in the serving area and the personal areas. A true example of how a bar, restaurant, hotel should be presented. Excellent.
