I have been to Hartlepool many times in the past stayed in different places over the years but the Grand Hotel I liked nice staff spacious rooms location ideal I did come across one rude customer that was not very nice despite the staff doing g everything they could for her so I just had to tell her off fo being so rude definitely will stay again and also o e mention to the curry house in the same building excellent food and again nice staff

I have to say that this place is very accommodating, clean and has great food . Having read some of the previous bad reviews I gave it a chance and was pleased with the stay. I would hazard a guess that some of the horrible reviews are fake due to a certain Blackpool hotelier. If I’m correct this is an extremely nasty thing to do by trying to sabotage a business. Give this place a try is all I can say. Based on my unbiased reviews.

Welcome was amazing.... Room lovely, so clean and fresh, we come from here and have lived down south for 30+ years....we are always blown away by the friendly north that we know and love..🥰 A few points..( Cleveland suit)... Toilet seat a bit loose and the shower is a tap feed, a wall mounted shower head holder, also perhaps a curved shower pole and curtain would be a good addition. These are only minimal glitches. Breakfast was as promised and amazing, the staff are so attentive and we would hesitate to book again. My high star rating is because we had a fantastic stay, the glitches could just be a personal preference. Still a 5 * review.

Premier Inns always provide comfy beds, clean spacious rooms and bathrooms at a good price, so it’s easy to leave a good review. However my stay in Hartlepool Marina was improved greatly as a result of the wonderful staff who work there. The room was always cleaned to a high standard and help with a pleasant smile was always on hand.. a special mention to Hayley and Erika who were great help and very personable. It was as always never great to be away from home for so long but their help and greeting in an always friendly manor really enhanced the stay in making me feel more of a home away from home. Thank you both for brightening up the stay of the whole team that stayed with you.

On arrival everything seemed okay however we soon discovered our bathroom hadn't been cleaned all that well. Sink and shower had dirty marks over it along with water marks ( i wiped a tissue over and it came up clean so i know not hard water marks) We reported this to reception, lady said i will go and check your room that was all that was said We were on our way out, on return our card denied us access into the building however we got that sorted. When we returned to our room it had been cleaned over in bathroom. Sadly we then discovered at bed time our 3 year old daughters pillow had alot of dark hair on it as-well as our fitted sheet! I didnt report this as i felt reception didnt welcome negative feedback and my partner doesn't like to say anything. We flipped the sheets over however it didn't really sit well with me 👎👎 We have come to the conclusion the cleaners went for a nap when they woke up didnt have time to clean bathroom 🤷🏻‍♀️ Pros- Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, plenty parking. 👍 Please pay more attention to detail although this place is a cheaper option it does not mean its okay to cut corners
